TURTLE CAKE


1 German chocolate cake mix
14 oz. bag of Kraft caramels
3/4 cup oleo
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans

Prepare cake mix as directed on box. Pour 1/2 of batter in a greased 9 X 13 inch dish. Bake 15 minutes at 350*
Mix caramels, oleo and milk; heat to melt. Pour over cooked cake, then sprinkle chips and nuts over caramel mixture. Then pour rest of batter over this. Cook 20 minutes at 350* or until done. Let cool before slicing.
