The home of
the Gavit Gladiators provides all students with outstanding educational
opportunities, grades six through twelve. The
total enrollment for Gavit is approximately 1,500 students, and the
Gavit student body is made up of a culturally diverse population.
Known as "The
Pride of Hammond," Gavit believe in success for every child. From
the mult-age, project-based learning community in the middle school
to our thirteen Advanced Placement courses available to high school
students, Gavit is meeting the needs of the children we serve. Our Learning
Plus tutoring and remediation programs are available to assist all students.
A fine athletic
and performing arts program, as well as community-based service clubs,
compliment Gavit's standards-driven curriculum.
