CMD + R--This will reload the page (very beneficial when encountering the "javascript"-bug)
CMD + F--This will bring up the FIND box
CMD + G--After entering something in the FIND box once, this will let you search for the next occurrence of that string
CMD + B--This will let you look backwards for the last occurrence of that string.
CMD + A--this will hightlight text
CMD + C--this will copy hightlighted text onto a clipboard
CMD + V--this will paste copied text
CMD + X--this will cut/erase copied text
CMD + Options--Will bring up the Advanced Options if you have not already set your box to do so automatically.
CMD + CTRL--When your highlight box is over a link, this will display the URL of the line in the status bar.
TRICK--When over a link press CTRL+CMD, you will see the URL of the link. To freeze it in your titlebar for easy copying, press SHIFT simultanously with CTRL+CMD and hold your other hand over the infrared light on the top of the keyboard. Released the 3 keys and take the hand away. The link stays frozen until another key is being hit.
CMD + CTRL + M--this will open an index list
CMD + ALT + A--this will highlight an entire index
CMD + CTRL + I--this will scroll down an index one by one
CMD + Power--This will disconnect your box without turning it off (you may also use your Options Key and press·HANG UP·).
TRICK--Ever have someone wanna use the phone while you are typing a long email and don't want to have to wait? Do THIS: Put your cursor in the body of the email and hit options and at the same time you hit the HANG UP button hit any letter on the keyboard. You will still be able to type while someone else talks on the same phoneline...!!! Just reconnect and send it after dialing...!
CMD + Scroll Up--Will take you to the top of the current page.
CMD + Scroll Down--Will take you to the bottom of the current page.
CMD + Delete--Will delete all of the text in the line you are presently on.
CMD + <—--Will take you to the left side of any line of text you are currently writing.
CMD + —>--Will take you to the right of any line of text you are currentl writing.
CMD + Any letter (while in a select box)--Will automatically scroll down the list of items to those beginning with that letter.
CMD + P (only when the printer adaptor is connected)--Will bring up the Printing Options Window.
CMD + S (only when the scanner adapter is connected)--Will bring up Scanner Options Window.
CMD + W (only for WebTV™ Plus)-- Will bring up the TV PIP
CMD + M will shift the TV PIP from one side to the other (into all four corners if you have the spring 2001 update). If you carry the ENTER button on your remote, this will create the same effect.
CTRL + POWER--activates your antenna or cable system and brings up your full TV screen. Same is achieved by pressing TVhome and view. Press Ctrl+Power again to come back to your WebHome.
It is also helpful when you have more than one TV hooked up. The cable box antenna output is hooked up to the antenna input of the LBB and the antenna output of the LBB goes to the other tv in the living room. When viewing MSNTV on the main tv and wanting to view the cable box output on the other tv, this command key will pass the signal through the LBB. If it isn't switched to pass through the MSNTV signal would be on both tvs.
CMD + Back--takes you to the last page visited fast
CMD + right arrow takes you to the end of a line
CMD + left arrow --takes you to the beginning of a line
INFO KEY--the INFO key gives you information about URLs visited. When in newsgroups, the INFO key also provides you with the data of how many posts have been accumulated since the existence of the group.
When in emails or websites, not only the address is displayed, but also the URL for the currently playing soundfile, if applicable.
INFOTRICK--When in a post, email or website, click on infokey and press CMD+A, hold down the SHIFT key and press left arrow button two times, followed by the right arrow button (for letters) or the up/down arrow buttons (for entire lines). You can copy just the URL of a site or soundfile this way off the infokey, or pull off the address of a newsgroup. After cutting the text, press CMD+C.
NOTE: The INFO, PIP, FIND, SAVE, SEND, MESSENGER, PRINT, RELOAD and HANG UP KEY can also be accessed by pressing the OPTIONS KEY.
OPTION+.RAM--when listening to a real audio file this key displays a console for PLAY, PAUSE, STOP and FORWARD, plus the timing. [if you accepted the spring 2001 update, this option is now automatically displayed in your scrollbar.
CTRL + M-- Serves the same function as hitting return while over a link and opening a new window
CTRL + I--Serves the same function as the tab key and is transporting to the next active link
EDIT-- While over a text box, this will activate your cursor, letting you write
TAB-- Will take you to the next link and if it is a text will activate your cursor. In WebTv's Pagebuilder, it will scroll you all the way downwards to the DONE button when in editing. This is also valid for various other website filemanagers (tripod, geocities etc)
SHIFT + Tab--takes you to the next link, the same way as the return key, but instantly without pressing any additional key.
SHIFT + arrow down--highlights entire lines
SHIFT + arrow up-- takes highlight off entire lines
SHIFT + right arrow--highlights one letter at a time
SHIFT + left arrow-- takes highlights off one letter at a time
SHIFT + Scroll down-- highlights entire text sections
SHIFT + Scroll up--takes highlight off entire text sections
ESCape--Will take you out of most pop-up boxes.
ALT + Most letter and number keys--Allows you to type special characters
ALT + Shift + Most letter or number keys.--Allows you to type from another set of characters

BONUSHere's a cool trick! Put the curser over a message in your E-mail box. Now press CTRL+CMD simultaneously. It'll show you what number message that was that entered your box. If you do this to your newest message- it'll show you how many emails you've ever received. Cool!

Although this is second nature to many WebTV users, some are not aware of this- If you want to go to a webpage with the standard www.page_name.com format, in the GoTo mode, just type in the page name part, and the www. and .com are assumed by default. Similarly, to send email to another WebTV user, just type in their user name where it says TO. For example, to email me, don't type TO: BeeDiana@webtv.net, simply type BeeDiana

FN--Literally means "for nothing". A filler key to balance the appearance of the keyboard

On a Ultimate TV keyboard (i.e. RCA WKB1OWB1), the Fn key serves as the activator key for the F-Shortcut-KEYS (1-7). Fn + 1-7= F1-7
