The Constitution of the Digit Republic
By order of the people of the Digit Republic, we write this constitution to assure the freedom and order of the people.
Executive
Section 1.
The Captain of the Digit Republic is the executive administrator of the Digit Republic; having power over the military, external trades, and the ability to sine treaties and alliances.
Section 2.
The Captain has the power to appoint the Twelve Judges.
Section 3.
The Captain must approve new law before the people of the Republic vote upon it.
Judicial
Section 1.
The Twelve Judges that are appointed by the Captain. They have the power to appoint Lower Judges as needed.
Section 2.
The Twelve Judges must also approve new law before the people vote upon it. The Twelve Judges must make a sure that the new laws do not conflict with old law. The Twelve Judges may also determine if the people may vote old law out.
Section 3.
The Twelve Judges or five Lower Judges will judge the cases brought before the court. The judges will then sentence according their collective opinions. Punishment will not be cruel, such as torture. Capitol punishment will not be given except in the case of homicide with overwhelming evidence to the convincing Judges in total completeness otherwise a lesser punishment will be determined.
Legislation
Section 1.
The people will vote on all law. If law is passed by the people all people of the Digit Republic will be expected obey the law.
Section 2.
The People will elect the senators for the colony that they live in. there are five senators per colony.
Section 3.
The colony senators have control over internal road building and economic planning.
Section 4.
The Senate has the power to remove the Captain if the Captain has committed a crime or has intently restricted the rights of a person. The senate must have a two thirds vote to remove the captain.
Section 5.
The Senate can also sine trades and alliances with out the Captain?s approval.
Section 6.
The Senate has the power to over rule an action, approval, or veto made by the Captain. Theses cases must be presented to the Senate within the first three weeks after its occurrence.
