Grease

     

Dinah plays Pink Lady Marty Maraschino (" you know like in cherry") in this classic musical about high school life in the fabulous '50s. Marty is definitely the sex kitten of the group. Her wallet is full of photos of various boyfriends (soldiers mainly). How does she keep up with them all? "I'm a terrific pen-pal, hopelessly devoted to each and every one." Further establishing her reputation, Marty ends up at the school's dance contest on the arm of National Bandstand host Vince Fontaine. The main plot line doesn't center around her of course, so this short description pretty much sums up the basic character of Marty. This was Dinah's first role in a feature film.
