Here's a replica of one of the new Racers sets, built with normal LEGO System bricks. Some people were expecting the Racers to be in Duplo scale, and were surprised at how small the actual Racers were. My model, although not made with Duplo, is about the same size as a Duplo Racer would have been. It's around 17 LEGO System studs long, including the bumpers.
I was able to build the crash and eject feature into the Jumbo Racer, but it is unfortunately too heavy to use the launcher included in standard Racers sets.
The large yellow wheels are from ZNAP set 3501. The front bumper is actually grey, not light blue as it appears in the photos. I'm still learning.
