Direct Action Against Apathy is a small group of people with a lot of ideas, ideas which even make it into reality. We are part of the international d.i.y. (do -it -yourself) conspiracy to reclaim ‘the means of expression’ from the corporate nasties.
Since 1997 we've published 6 zines entitled Direct Action Against Apathy. During 2000/01 we released 2 cd's by Devils Bit Scabious. 2002 gave birth to our new book Squatting in the Bushes.
From time to time we've organised or been involved in actions, events workshops, gigs, exhibitions, cultural activism, film screenings, & that kind of thing, taken loads of photos (check out the archive), produced occasional newsletters, & leaflets, & distributed some other zines that we thought were pretty cool.
We do have future plans. Zines/books/newsletters will sporadically appear, but we’re not making any promises about when! Feel free to encourage us.
