| Dissent is a Punk (Rev.) Rock/ Ska band from Calaveras County, Ca. Adam Apathy and Money Bags were in a band called Eye for an Eye but broke up after about a year. Soon after, Adam started up another band called Anti-Radio-Active, but after playing a few shows they too went the ways of the parachute pants. Adam Apathy and Money Bags decided to form another band together so they formed Dissent. After looking for a bit they came upon a scared young Emo Jizz and gave him drums to learn and he joined the crew. Later, after playing their first show, Money Bags moved to second guitar and they got a new bass player Max. Now Money Bags is back on bass. Emo Jizz left the band in order to pursue other interests, such as becomming a family man, but still likes to punk it up every so often and lend a helping hand to the band. Emo Jizz was replaced by Cajun, whom they met playing drums on the streets near libraries for small change. For some reason he wasn't too successful with that so he decided to join Dissent. Now with their new drummer intact The Big D is kicking ass hole off left and right. And thus, Dissent was born! Dissent is more than a band, it is a state of mind.
