He gets himself into a lot of trouble with his short fuse and explosive temper. He doesn't like talking about his past, and can't stand to see women cry. The only place he's ever felt at home was at the Genkotsu Dojo- a martial arts studio he's been attending ever since he arrived in this city.

She eventually found a job as a waitress in the city around Kamen, and rented a small apartment as soon as she was able. She's also a patron of the Genkotsu Dojo, and works there as an instructor for lower level classes on the weekend.
Though she often seems hyper and impulsive, Momichi has another side that people are rarely allowed to see.

Background: Eiri was once a loyal member of the Shinsengumi during the final period of the Meiji Revolution. His squadron's position was sold to the enemy by an internal agent, and Eiri and his comrades were killed. Because of his skill and high level of psychic energy, Eiri was coerced into becoming a Shinigami. Having little other choice, he agreed.. His job now is to detect disturbances on the human plain, investigate them, and do what is necessary to correct the situation. He is extremely level-headed and cool-tempered most of the time.

Weapons/Accessories: Twin light weight daggers hidden in the lining of his jacket and a katana he wears at his side.
Background: Haru is a lost soul who refused to pass on after death. He respawned as a mazoku in the astral plane, but unlike most demons, his will was strong enough to retain much of his human personality and free-will. His mazoku form after death was created by the Lord of Nightmares, and he worked under her since his resurrection, mainly due to the hold she had over his soul.
He was originally stationed at Kamen to observe the manifestation of the darkness named Yami, and found himself in an alliance of convenience with the other residents who were fighting the same entity. He swtiched sides several times as his employers interests changed, eventually no longer seeming to have a mission at Kamen at all.
After having the link between himself and his employer severed by one of Satsuki's spell's, he's now a strictly freelance worker. The spell also had the effect of creating a link between Satsuki and himself- allowing them to communicate telepathically as well as linking them physically so that he receives about 75% of the damage of Satsuki's physical injuries, and vice versa. For reasons known only to him, he continues to return frequently to Kamen Apaato Complex.

Background: Raised by her father, Satsuki's mother left the family before Satsuki was six months of age. Her father then died when she was ten years old, of an undetermined disease. Unwanted at that time by the rest of her family, she went to various foster homes until the tail-end of her twelfth year. She was then requested by her grandmother, and that was when her 'lady training' began. At the same time, she also found a teacher of the more supernatural set. She ran away from said other teacher when she was fourteen, killing one of his friends and stealing a set of scrolls from him in the process. Her at-home lady training also ended one year later, when she was shipped off to geisha-dom. That training went by rather quickly, and she was only one month away from the ceremony making her a full-fledged one, when she left. She moved to Kamen about a year ago, and works at random drawing/painting/whatever artsy-type jobs. She is quiet to a point of almost silence, unbearably calm, and does kind things most often from habit. She is currently pregnant with Haru's child.

Background: Was born in the Dark Fukai a mix breeded youkia. Half shadow demon and half wolf demon. Her father, the leader of the Miasaria Clan had abandoned her. She lived on her own and learned to be the 'Lone Wolf'. Giving herself the title of the 'Shadow Wolf', many have been out for the wanted youkia. Though she has many magical abilities, she is very naive and not so wise with her magic. She is also young still, so controlling magic is hard. She now is gravely injured and was somehow brought to Kamen for healing. She soon plans on leaving once she gets better...unless someone befriends her, she won't stay.

Background: Ino died back in the age when demons, mortals, and angels all lived in the same realm- before the separation into the Reikai, Makai, and Ningenkai. Her memories of her life before death have faded over the centuries, but she knows that she fought alongside the humans during the War of the Monsters' Fall.
She volunteered to become a Shinigami, and served as such for many centuries. She eventually became disillusioned and became a ronin. JuOhCho pursued her for awhile, but eventually dropped the warrent, deeming it a waste of resources.
Her recent life has involved moving from town to town and job to job over the years. Presently, she works at a bar downtown.

Backround: Jiko became a Shinigami a half century after the war of the monster's fall, but has since forgotten many of the details surrounding his former life. He tends to be unpredictable, and often operates on the very edge of what is allowable by Shinigami edict.

Weapons/Accessories: Bow - A long, thin, but strong metal that is in the form of a metal bar only about five inches long. But when exposed to heat, it becomes longer, and transforms into a bow, or rod, which ever you want to call it. She rarely uses it, even though it is her favorite weapon.
Kundai - Two long, slim, and sharp daggers. They are longer than a normal dagger, but not as long as a sword. She uses these the most often during training, fighting etc.
Sword - A long, black sword. The sword is black because of the dark, or evil, energy contained within it. With it comes in contact with bare skin, it not only cuts, as a normal sword would do, but also transfers toxic into the body of the contact. It slowly becomes harder to go on for the person as the poison starts to take affect. But it doesn't kill them.
Background: Starlight Catalonia was the third child and second daughter of the great King Leon, who was the supreme ruler of the golden guardians, an inhuman race that lived on the stars. One day, during the sacred fire festival, a dark demon named Pangizor attacked and slaughtered millions at that festival.
Starlight was one of the few survivors. She looked up to her father the most and she just happened to be with him at his death. Pangizor cut her father's head clean off, and when Starlight tried to avenge Leon, Dark, another dark demon, came to protect her master. Dark cast a craft on the young golden guardian, and she slept for eighteen years.
Finally, the craft became too weak to contain her, and Starlight awoke as a fully grown woman. Right after she awoke, she encountered her long lost best friend, Songorita. Her best friend quickly took her to the village where she was currently staying, and Starlight was instantly accepted.
She became the warrior priestess of the village, which was one of the six elite. As time went on, Starlight's memories finally returned to her, but she was still determined to live a happy life protecting the village. Several years passed, and everything went as it should have.
But then, Pangizor suddenly showed up in the village on day and slaughtered an elite. This angered both Starlight and Songorita. There were several other deaths that followed, and he had gotten away every single time. Finally, Starlight and Songorita left their village to protect it. They knew if they left, the village would be safe.
Starlight and Songorita eventually split up. Starlight now travels alone, searching for Pangizor...So she cannot only put all his madness to an end, but also avenge her family...

History and Description: Katani's mother was a sorceress, her father a shapeshifter demon. She is, like most other half-demons, an outcast from both demonic and human societies. Before she died, her mother taught her everything she knew, thus the magical powers. She tries to fit in sometimes, and she does pretty well as a human, but her sweet disposition makes it hard to blend in in a demon encampment. Sometimes, creatures from her father's army attempt to assassinate her, to take her out of the gene pool. She has grown accustomed to this, however, and has turned it ino a sort of a game to sharpen her skills. She acts like a 13-year-old girl on the outside, but on the inside, her many years have made her mind knowledgeable and wise. She admits when she is wrong and looks up to people who she thinks are good leaders. She doesn't like seeing people hurt, and will help out whenever she can.

Background: Songorita used to live in the Golden Kingdom. Her father was a golden guardian, the right hand man of King Leon. Her mother was a fallen angel, who gave her life for her family. She had an older brother, Nugal. He grew up as a soldier.
The day the kingdom fell, Song escaped to Earth with her older brother. Nugal simply disappeared after taking her to a village. She grew up there as the Slayer of the elite. After waiting eighteen years, she finally found her long lost friend, Starlight. Song quickly took her to the village, and they lived a 'normal' life. But Song and Starlight both left the village soon after, and traveled together for a few more years. After an arguement, Song went her separate way. She was quickly overpowered by Pangizor, and he took control of her mind. She spent the next year serving him. She then ran into Starlight again, and with help from friends, she broke Pangizor's hold. She now lives at Kamen, awaiting the day to truely break free from her past.

Background: Ami is an ice demon. After being born, she quickly left her parents and since then has fended for herself. She immediately became a professional theif within the Makai, and stole several items. She quit this hobby, however, when she stole from some fire demons. She was quickly ambushed, caught, and beaten almost to death.
She blacked out during the beating, and woke to find a woman named Song healing her. Ami and Song quickly became friends, but Song disappeared several days after their meeting. Ami now travels throughout the three worlds, and eventually came across Kamen. She found Song there, and quickly decided to stay. Ami and Starlight obviously don't get along very well because of Ami's close friendship with Song, and are usually arguing or handing out insults to each other.

Background: Sekizu was the created son of Guraibu Kaiu, the ruler of the Ebisu section of the Makai. After his father's death, Sekizu spread his control to several of the smaller areas around Ebisu, eventually assembling an army large enough for Zelas Metallium, one of the dark lords under the Lord of Nightmares, to take notice of. After a century of loyal service, he became Zelas's appointed priest and head assassin...a position which he still holds to this day.

She's also able to use her reiki to form her zanpakutoh, Takahime. The zanpakutoh has the ability to transform into multiple spinning blades controlled by thought.
Background: Kari is the daughter of Ino and a mortal man. Both she and her mother left her father soon after her birth, and returned to the outskirts of the Rukongai in Reikai. Through Ino, Kari learned much about the nature of supernatural beings as well as the history between the three realms, and through a the priests of a Rukongai temple, she learned a great deal of her magic. Kari became estranged from Ino at the age of 12 after she chose to leave home on her own persuits. During a prolonged stay in a town in the Ningenkai, she became a treasure hunter...eventually making that her sole occupation. She's traveled far and wide within the boarders of all three realms and has amassed a small fortune as well as a library of magical manuscripts.

Horror- When Nozumu inserts terrifying images into a person's mind, if she leaves the images in their long enough they will go insane.
Dark cloak-When shadows surround Nozumu making her disappear, how ever it only last for a couple a minute and it only works well in the night time.
Pulse- A desperation attack that is meant to push enemies a far distance back, basically a strong force (Nozumu's life force) pushes the enemy back and if the enemy is weak enough knocks them out.
Death grip- When Nozumu gets angry enough she can transform all of her negative energy into a poison that depending on her mood and how much she likes/ hates the person can kill slowly or fast.

Posionious darts- small needle sized darts that have poison on the end of them, Nozumu has alot of these but rarely uses them.
Silver Daggers- Two twin bladed daggers both made by the same blacksmith, the blades are made out of silver and the handles are a made of brass and covered with a black cloth. The dagger have been passed down the Karu family for generations.
Bow and Arrow- The bow is made from a strange tree's bark only found in makai, the bow looks like it has been burnt but it's acttuly much stronger and can be used as a melee weapon. The arrows are made from oak wood, the feathers that aid in it's flight are black with silver tips and the actual arrow itself in made out of silver that when it hits releases a posions into the target's body.
Doa- A machette like blade ussaly found by Nuzumu's side, the handle is black and wrapped up with old bandages. The blade itself looks like it was made from crystal from the far mountains.
Bandage- A bandage covers most of Nuzumu's right arm covering a tattoo.
Earing- A silver earing is on her left ear, lets just say that there is a suprise inside.
Background: Nozumu grew up in a normal everyday village living a normal everyday life until she was about eight, then she was taken from her home and was put through intense training. After many years of going on missions, and going through more training Nozumu was set free after they injected a chemical so her memories were earsed. For many years she wandered until she stumbled upon a village she later found out that it was her village. Unfrotantly the whole village was burnt down and everyone was dead, she again wandered she kept wandering trying to remember what happened and trying to find the person who destroyed everything she ever knew.

Teleport- Cree is able to teleport long distances, the only side affect is she dosen't know where exactly she's going and most of the time she does it in her sleep and ends up in a random place.
Sky Dance-Cree is able to fly when she uses paper to make wings she is more agile even when running also she is able to attack from above.
Weapons/Accessories:
Paper sword- Cree can make paper into swords, depending on how much paper she has it can either be a dagger or katana or even a spear.
Paper Animals- Cree can make paper creatures and puppet them making them do whatever she wants, like if she wants them to attack or go get her a sandwhich.
Paper Sheild- Cree can make a sheild out of the paper but it's almost a storng as steel, the more paper she has the bigger and stronger the sheild is.
Background: Cree being who she is finds herself lost one morning at the age of six, she does her best not to get herself killed until one day she stumbled upon a old werehouse. The werehouse used to store stuff for a department store so the safest place she figured was a oven. She used her abilties to help her survive until one day she ended up in Kamen's lobby.

Background: Born on Earth as an unplanned child, Setsuna was drowned before he turned one. The only life he knows is the one lived in the North Village on the farthest edge of the Rukongai (the large area for passed souls that borders JuOhCho, the Shinigami city). Since he entered the area the same age as he had been at death, he needed to be cared for by other souls who had already established their second lives. He was named Wabibito (unwanted), and passed from household to household. When he was old enough, he left his most recent home and set out to live on his own, renaming himself after the principle he had become determined to live by: setsunashyugi- 'living for the moment'.

Background: A mysterious traveling dog demon who's parents mysteriously died in a fire. Alone, she ran away,but she also ran away for the adventure. She'll sometimes have flashbacks of how her parents died in the fire which won't go away. The only thing she could do is break down crying. She can be shy at times when she first meets someone but she get more open to that person. As she goes through different cites and towns she sees everyone in love with one of another. That's her number one goal in life: finding her one and true love. But due to her demon-like appearance, she's hated everywhere she goes. Until one day when wonders into a city located near Keman. After realizing how beautiful it was along with its people,she decided to stay in the city for a while and become a mechanic. Can this be the last time she ever travels?

Background: Cassy was killed shortly after she was born, and for one reason or another, wound up in the Makai as a shade rather than passing normally on to the Rukongai like normal souls. She lived a solitary life for over 14 years- barely capable of speech (though she could more than understand it) and surviving only through psychically feeding off the numerous attackers that saw her as an easy target. Instinctively, she was drawn to her brother after he arrived in the Makai as well and relentlessly sought him out- subconsciously recognizing his mental signature as one of two people who had mourned her demise. Eventually, she started creating her own revenue by creating curse seals and potions and selling them on the street.

Background: Keiji was burned alive at the age of 16. It was soon discovered that he had incredible power over darkness and some minor telepathic ability, so the Reikai took him in and he was accepted as a Shinigami. During his time serving in the Pure Court, he honed his abilities and learned to use them not only to perform his duties as a Shinigami, but also to cause pain and suffering. Something dark awoke in his soul, and one day he lost control completely, and destroyed an entire Reikai village. Justice being very similar back then to what is now in the Shinigami Pure Court, he was sent back to Earth to live out the rest of his days as an exile. Background: Ran constantly smiles, and speaks in an lilting, easy-going voice. He's definately a new arrival to Kamen, and perhaps even to the world it exsists in as well. Little is known about his background as of yet, although he seems to have ties of some sort to Kinian.

Background: Still very much a soldier of the Pure Courts, although a world weary and tired one, Kinian presents himself as a fairly straightforward, moderately agreeable, person. He speaks with a thick Irish accent and always carries a sword. He claims to have come to Kamen on the trail of his 3 final targets, all whom he must kill as a final duty for the sake of justice as well as the honor of himself and others. The first and most important target on his list is a man named Giovann dePyrector, a wanted murder from another dimension who interrupted Kinian's peaceful attempt at life and brutally murdered his family, along with the families of countless others. Second in his killing ambition is Hatsuharu Graywords, not only because the demon was his last issued assignment in Reikai, but primarily because he owes his captain and lieutenant, who were assassinated by him while on duty, vengeance.

Background: Being the long lost twin of Gypsy, Dolores was born a vampire from her mother who was a vampire. Even though her father was a demon, Gypsy was the one who was born a demon. But after finding out that her mother didn't exactly die in the fire she started, she thought she could alert her sister by coming to Kamen. Even though she still hated her, Dolores still in a way cared for her twin sister. Nobody really knows what happened to her right eye it might sound silly but she was born with some kind of laser in her right eye and the only way to stop it from firing uncontrollably, she covered her eye with a black band, an order to keep it under control. She doesn't really like to take about it but some people seem to notice to and ask questions anyway.

Weapons/Accessories: Kuzukai, a demon sword only he can use, a pistol hidden in his coat with a scope and a silencer, a miniature uzi in his sock, arsenic poison in his sleeves, napkins soaked in cloroform in his front pocket, various government technology in other pockets, most notably the TrAcKeRs, tracking devices only the goggles he wears can see, hear, or best of all, sense, knifes hidden in various places, and simon, living goggles that can see in every kind of vision besides normal. If he doesn't have these things with him, which only happens, say, once every ten blue moons, if you know that saying, he can take any nearby object and use gravity to shape them into swords and knives.
Background: In his childhood, he had it easier than his twin brother, Lokai. His father beat Rukar less, and their mother was a bit too "Overloving" with Lokai, while she just ignored Rukar, except when she was drunk. When they were 7, their father got really drunk, and put a bullet into each of the two boys, before killing himself. Lokai, his shoulder. Rukar, his skull. He found hell very comfortable, a lot better than home, and he always loved hot places. In the five years he was there, he worked his way up to the grim reaper, which was actually a rank, but you still did what the name suggested. At the end of the five years, Lokai decided to delve in the dark arts, and sacrificed their mother to revive him. They were sent to a foster home, under the excuse that their father kept Rukar in their basement, and had forced him to watch scary movies the whole five years, and had whacked him with a crowbar, which was why he had a black mark on his head. There, Rukar met Shadow, another revivee and his partner for the last year, on the P.I.P.R. squad, which stood for something really stupid, Politically Important People Reapers, who were extremely good at reaping, because the whole black cloak, all bones, scythe thing had stopped being the reaper uniform in the 7th century. Now, they had the weaponry that Rukar has, plus a couple other cool toys. The uniform was still all black, which sometimes made it too hot in hell when the lava acted up, even for Rukar. It had a kevlar vest with diamond wool filling the inside of it. It had the symbols on it, in the fashion of S.W.A.T vest have their symbols. They were not invisible, far from it. But they were very stealthy. They killed what the name suggested, and had only been caught twice, the abraham lincoln assasination, and the john F. kennedy assasination. When shadow was adopted, they ran after him, only to find out that he had been sent to another foster home upon the "mysterious" death of his foster parents. On the way to that foster home, them both now 15, they came upon a government base. inside, they got their powers, Lokai getting fire and mind powers, Rukar getting gravity and "Bob.", almost dying on the way out because he was unaware that it sucked up life force. To be honest, he did die for five minutes. In hell, the devil, aware Lokai was trying to bring him back, he was assigned to A.E.R., which stood for Above Earth Reapers, apparent revivees that would continue their reaper duties in life. His first, and last assignment, was to head to Kamen, to be given an assignment by Alkarash, with a black magic store chain as a front for her criminal empire, which was a front for the fact that she is an A.E.R. leader. When he got there, he was turned invisible, and soundproof, to help with his assignment. Lokai and Rukar each having a part of the three guardians necklace, met Takun. Takun having the third part, through ebay, brought Rukar back to the visible spectrum. He eventually forgot his assignment, only to be reminded by Shadow, acting serious for a little bit, that it was Songerita Birdsall, Song for short, another resident of Kamen, who he had harbored feelings for at one time, and his first friend at Kamen. He chose not to kill her. Recently, a Lokai with a sudden need to be the best, drank some instant god wine, but could not control it. He started wreaking havoc, so Rukar, Song, and Star, her "races", because Rukar didn't know what the race was called, queen, went down to hell to get Doilemer, the only person with a pure soul, and now the bartender of Kamen. When they got out, Doilemer forced Rukar to drink the instant god wine, but, due to Rukar's true neutral self, Rukar could control the power. He killed Lokai, and is now searching for a way to bring him back, because he didn't go to heaven or hell, so they can't revive him by conventional means.
Personality: Overly curious, and overall happy. Unlike the other residents at Kamen, he is not afraid to show emotion, which, Song constantly reminds him, will "Get him killed eventually. He also has a dark side, which he doesn't show unless he has to.

Background: Born in Alaska, Kazaki has lived with his Japanese Mother, Kotone Kobayashi, and twin Sister, Miho Kobayashi, his whole life. He has no recollection of his Father, as he had left his mother before the birth of Kazaki and Miho. Kazaki is now 19, and had decided to go to a University in Japan. Having left his mother and sister back in Alaska, he brought his Husky Souka with him, and had started a new life. Having grown up in a family where he was the only one with supernatural powers, he had never let either his Mother or Sister know about them. Kazaki was a quite person, who always was able to mask his feelings. He had no friends, and had no desire to get any, merely to study courses along the path to becoming a veterinarian. He had no training whatsoever in fighting, and used to shun all of his abilities except his ability to talk to his own Souka. When Kazaki arrived at Kamen, he was an average schoolboy, looking to get a degree that would enable him to become a veterinarian. Alas, after a week of living in Enshu, a demon that lived inside of Sirika destroyed a building at the University that Kazaki was attending, and Kazaki was accused! So, Kazaki fled. Keiji, the person who would soon become his Master, found him. Keiji found it amusing to torture Kazaki and soon implanted a gem in the back of Kazakis neck that made him his mind-slave. At first, it was a bad relationship on Kazakis side but he soon started to ignore the pain, as he was getting it dished at him far too often. Now, he serves Keiji with pleasure, a different man from the boy that moved to Kamen. Kazaki is a natural at the bow he shot a target between the eyes on his first try. He could enjoy this, he told himself, and so he does. Keiji and Kazaki, now having killed four residents of Enshu Nanashi, Takun, Asuka, and Kael - and are plotting to kill the rest Keiji out of spite, and Kazaki out of want to do his masters will, the gem having corrupted his mind. Kazaki is fast becoming a replica of his Master, or rather, the complementary half in a battle. Who can say how many they will kill? Theres only one way to find out.

She cannot heal herself fully, but can accelerate the healing process.
Weapons/Accessories: Rapier and a bow (though she admits to having horrible marksmanship). She also carries a tube of lipstick, which she uses to draw spells on things and/or people.
Personality: Kind, yet extremely shy. She is not easily to aggravated, but one would be advised not to try her patience. Even when she is in a very pleasant mood, she always has an aura as though she is very dejected.
Background: She rarely speaks of it, but when she was a child, her powers manifested and her family, all users of light magic, did not approve in the least. After many years of being trained unsuccessfully in the light arts, her family decided she was shameful to them, so they ordered her to be executed at age fourteen. At the very last moment before they could kill her, her ability to sink into shadows finally manifested and she managed to escape. For weeks afterward, she wandered around her home invisibly, too attached to her family to leave for good, but knowing that they would kill her if she were to show herself. Finally, she left for good and lived alone in a Makai city for a few years. When she turned seventeen, she left that place as well, but the reason for that is unknown. Since then, she has traveled from place to place and has not made a permanent home in four years. Not until she found her way to Kamen, at least?

She's also a shapeshifter and has some spell casting abilities.
Weapons/Accessories: None. She has a large castle (Castello diTeiresia) in the Makai that belonged to her 'father', but rarely goes there except to fetch materials and/or books. The castle hosts a swarm of dark rooms and darker secrets.
Background: Many centuries ago, the dark oracle Tieresias absorbed the body of his succubal lover, M'yra, into his own body to gain an extra century or so of exsistance from her soul force. A few decades later, he noticed two problems in his strategy: 1) the soul of his lover would not fade or disintigrate inside him and 2)in a few decades more, he would indeed die and had no heir. In an amendment to both, he applied his twisted genius to the formation of a sire: embedding M'yra's soul in his right arm and severing the limb, 'resetting' her very being and then bonding and shaping the two with the addition of some additional elements through an advanced technique of alchemic responses and dark magic- the end result of which took a female form and was given the name Annanthe. Annanthe (or 'Anna' as she often calls herself) spent much of her early life being brought up in a fashion suitable to one who would eventually take the seat of the Makai oracle, studying diligently matters like demonic history, the arcane magics of abjuration, conjuration, divination, enchantment, evocation, illusion, necromancy, and transmutation, the applications of divine magic, psionics, cantrips, biology of many species, geography of the three realms, and so on. During her time under Tieresias's tutelage, she was also exposed to many of the 'experiments' he kept locked inside the walls of the castle.
In time, the old oracle died, and when her coronation was supposed to occur, she left the castle, leaving those gathered with an illusory version of herself to be appointed and carry on as she would- a large scale spell that she's been maintaining for over 4 years and one that keeps a constant drain on her energies. On the fifth year, the bonds of the spell itself will break and she will have to return, either to deny her station forever to seat herself in the castle to live out her days there. For the majority of the past, she's simply wandered the Makai, occassionally trying her hand at normal living, but finding that too often, she makes things far worse for people then she intends to. She intercepted Haru and Jiko when they were on their way to meet with her shadow spell, intrigued by their circumstance and choosing to help them personally with their problems instead. Along their journey, she gained an attachment to both and wound up following them back to Kamen.

Background: Isolde can't be certain how old she is, although she often remembers fragments of events that would suggest her to be quite ancient. Thou she keeps to herself, it would be unwise to underestimate for her powers can match her fiery attitude. Wherever you see her you will most likely see Asclanate who she always seems to be arguing with and who always seems to follow her around no matter where she goes, for reasons unknown to even her she does not kill him even though he is the sworn enemy of the unholy flame.
