Stardate: 60298.1417
Setting: Unknown Planet: Corridor

The odour was repugnant. So much so that Lea felt her throat muscles contract in an attempt to keep her inners from spilling out onto the floor. Never in all of her days had Lea come across such a revolting smell, and the joke made by Luke about hoping that this was not dinner had not helped. Actually it had made matters worse. Having been prisoners of some unknown force who had not cared all that much for their well being, the dirty water that they had been given as food had been less than palatable. This had caused the SFI agent to think about food a little more than she should have, something that she greatly regretted at this time.

“Wait!” Luke whispered, pushing Lea against the near wall to avoid them being detected by whatever he had heard. The force of his arm against her body had been enough to send her crashing against the wall. The force had not been sufficient to cause the SFI agent to suffer from any injuries, but it proved to be enough to make it impossible for Lea to hold back.

The combination of the nauseating smell and the physical shock of being pushed against the wall had achieved what Lea had been trying to avoid. In her weakened state, the trauma caused by her body’s reaction caused the SFI agent to collapse to her knees and the content of her stomach continued to be forced out.

“Great,” Luke sighed, “there goes our cover. Looks like we’re going to plan B. Like it or not.”

Lea tried to apologise but her looking up at the still standing man had been enough to send her back over the edge and to resume the unpleasant action that she had been in the midst of moments earlier.

The sound of a physical struggle reached the SFI agent’s ears, but Lea dared not to look up. She had managed a shaky control over her body and knew that it was very fragile. Lea would have to trust that Luke could take care of himself, not that she had been in any shape to help him.

Lea’s heart skipped a beat when she felt a hand land on her shoulder, not having noticed that the sounds of the struggle had ended. The SFI agent was more than relieved to see that the hand belonged to none other than her former cellmate who appeared unscathed by the struggle he had just taken part in.

“Was that plan B?” Lea asked, looking at a set of feet sticking out from around the corner. Luke only smiled, his piercing eyes reaching into the woman’s essence. Before she could realise it, Lea felt a sudden wave of dizziness wash over her, and just as she felt her legs give out from beneath her body, the SFI agent felt a pair of strong arms cradle her form.

Lea didn’t know what had happened, but in retrospect she didn’t care since the last thing she had seen before fainting having been Luke’s enchanting eyes.
