Stardate: 60298.1530
Setting: TOLAR IV, Atop a Snow Hill
Two Hirogens appeared through the blowing snow and wind, their riffles
firmly in hand. After a quick survey of their surroundings the hunters
moved off in opposite directions leaving the beam down location open
for two more Hirogens to appear. Like the first two, these two moved out
in different directions allowing for two more of their group to join
them. Within a minute the Hirogen hunting party consisted of eight
hunters, each armed with weapons that most Marines would have been jealous
of.
From the beam down location, the hunters had scattered in a circular
pattern searching for clues as to where their prize might be. It had
been during one of their hunts that they had learned of an item called the
Yal-Tonil which was said to hold great powers. The Hirogens had not
been interested in the artefact's powers. Their interest had been a much
simpler one: to find the artefact and display it as a unique trophy.
The rarer the item, the more coveted it was, and the Mind Stone was as
rare as could be.
The storm had erased any traces of the Jem'Hadars but that had not
stopped the Hirogens from finding the entrance to the ruins. More
surprising had been the hunter's discovery of the cloaked Romulan ship. They
had long ago learned not to rely on their instruments, using their
instincts and tracking skills instead. The hidden Romulan ship might not
have been what they had been searching for, but the possibility of a
worthy trophy inside could not be ignored.

Setting: TOLAR IV, Inside the Cloaked Ship, Bridge
The Founders had seen in their wisdom and generosity to give their
servants the Vortas a great deal of patience, but it was not endless.
Sitting inside of the powerless bridge of the stolen Romulan ship Serul
could only wait for his troops to find the artefact so that they could
return to the Dominion.
"The engineers have enabled short-range sensors," the Jem'Hadar who had
been visiting the Vorta on a regular basis said as he returned once
again to the darkened bridge. "They did suggest using them sparingly so
as to not draw too much power from the cloaking device."
"Well done," Serul said, glad that he had been given something new to
do. "Maybe those Humans are not as a complete waste of biological
matter as I had thought them to be."
"If you say so," the Jem'Hadar said with a growl, looking forward to
the time when he would be allowed to deal with the Humans as he wished.
The Vorta had just been ready to activate the sensors when a loud crash
echoed throughout the ship. Using the now working instruments, Serul
identified the cause of the noise as best he could. "Lousy Romulan
construction, looks like the storm knocked one of the external plates off.
Go check it out and have those engineers fix it. I don't want anything
to stop us from leaving this planet once the artefact is in our
possession."

Setting: TOLAR IV, Inside the Cloaked Ship, Corridor
The inside of the ship appeared to be Romulan but there was something
in the air that said something else. The Hirogens could not identify
what this difference was but they knew it to be there, teasing their
senses and heightening the expectations of the hunt. There was something
unexpected to be found in here and the hunters hoped that whatever it
was it would be more of a challenge than a green blooded Romulan with an
unusual odour.

Stardate: 10298.2040
Setting: Unknown Planet: Shuttle Bay
Having followed the rolling tin can into the shuttle bay Lea was
stunned by the size of the room and the number of ships that it contained.
The robot seemed uninterested by her presence in the room, a fact that
the SFI Agent had been most happy for. To avoid any further run-ins
with the robot, Lea headed for the opposite side of the shuttle bay to
investigate the ships that were there. Surely there would be one that
Luke and she could use to escape from this place and return to a
friendlier environment.
Looking around to make sure that she was alone, Lea stuck close to the
shuttles to help conceal her presence. After a few moments of
searching, the SFI Agent found a ship that seemed to fit all of their
requirements: small, fast and hopefully in perfect working order. Since
archaeology and linguistics were Lea's strong points, she would have to wait
for Luke to join her to make sure that the shuttle she had chosen was
indeed the one that they would use to get off this nightmarish world. In
the meantime though Lea would have to wait away from wondering eyes,
and the place place to do this was inside the ship that she had selected.

Setting: Unknown Planet: Shuttle Bay, inside unknown ship
From the outside the small ship had appeared to be nothing special, but
the inside was an entirely different story. Where Lea had expected to
find the standard flight control systems the SFI Agent had instead
discovered an extensive array of equipment, most of which she had never
seen before. It was clear that the ship she had hidden inside had been
meant for something other than simple travel, but the markings on the
controls gave Lea no clues as to the ship's intended purpose.
