Stardate: 60309.1815
Setting: USS ANUBIS, Deck 16, Crew Lounge aka "The Black Hole"

Sitting alone at a table the Romulan/Terran reviewed in her mind, with the help of the PADD she had brought with her, the day that had come and gone. Being docked at their base of operations meant that there had been a fair number of people who had boarded or disembarked from the ANUBIS during the day, and as COO is had been her responsibility to keep track of them.

Reading the list one more time the Romulan/Terran hybrid noticed that the name of the former ANUBIS' CEO appeared several times, always accompanied by that of the Oltharian. Smiling inwardly the COO was pleased to see that David had not been left alone to maul over the decision that had been dropped on him, and being with the NEW ALEXANDRIA's Robotics Engineer had also insured that Dawson would not do anything he had not been supposed to do.

Pausing her reading for a little bit, the COO leaned back into her seat and glanced at those few officers who had also come to this place to relax. Counting only a handful of junior officers, the Intel Operations trained Romulan/Terran hybrid wondered where the other members of the senior staff had been at this time. Looking beyond the frequent travels of the ex-CEO and of his towering companion, the only other members of the senior staff who had stepped off-ship had been 2nd Lt. Pravat and Capt. Simmons.

Reviewing the list of officers who formed the ANUBIS' senior staff, the COO tried her best to imagine what each had been up to from what she knew of them and of their movements within the ship. Starting at the top of the command structure, the Romulan/Terran hybrid thought about the CO and his relatively short visit to the station, the rest of his day having been spent either on the bridge of in his ready room. When not on duty, the ANUBIS' CO had likely been with his bethroved working out the details of their wedding, a joyous event that many on the ship had been looking forward to for quite some time now.

Moving down the list of officers, the Romulan/Terran hybrid next came to the ANUBIS' XO who had requested that her duties on the bridge be reduced to a minimum to give Rikar the chance to spend more time with her daughter. According to the ship's internal sensors, at least when they had been working, the mother and child duo had spent a large amount of time in the holodecks, the COO easily imagining that Rikar had been trying her best to keep Talia from thinking too much about the absence of her other parent.

Thinking of the Enaii, the Romulan/Terran hybrid looked at the empty chair that the ILO had become fond of sitting in when she decided to sneak out of the IGC on those rare occasions. From there the ILO seemed happy to covertly observe her shipmates and take notes on their activities, the greater majority of them never noticing the invisible woman's presence. Thinking back to the first time the COO had seen Enaii taking part in her past-time, Serenna realized that the only reason why she had seen the ILO where she had been was because of her extensive research into the methods of the Romulan Intel agency, the Tal'Shiar. Looking back at some of the ways of the ILO, the Romulan/Terran hybrid could not help but feel certain that the agency and woman were somehow connected well beyond the information present in Enaii's dossier.

Not wanting to dwell on the more recent events that had surrounded the ILO, the COO changed the focus of her thoughts to the next senior officer to be on her list: Lt. Maya. Knowing the scientist as well as anyone else on the crew meant that the Romulan/Terrant hybrid could find the Shillian with little effort by narrowing any search to the labs. Earlier today though that pattern had been broken and resulted in the CSciO being brought to Sickbay after having walked into a marine training simulation. Nothing serious having been found Maya had been returned to active status quickly and according to the internal logs, the Shillian had returned to one of her favorite places: Stellar Cartography.

Moving down the list, the next officers on the COO's hit list had been the two Ensigns who had joined the crew not all that long ago. Again using the information gathered by the internal sensors when they were not being disrupted by the work of Lt. T'Reni, the Romulan/Terran hybrid had deduced that the two of them had been developing a strong working relationship, something that could only make the ANUBIS a better place in the long run.

Noticing that her cup of Romulan Tea had grown cold, the Romulan/Terran hybrid figured that she had been here long enough and that it was time for her to return to her quarters and prepare for the next day. Probabilities dictated that tomorrow would be a lot of the same as today unless Adm. Koneki saw fit to sending them back into the field on some dangerous assignment filled with unknowns that would be sure to keep everyone guessing as to what would happen next.
