Playing Dabo with Guntiz had been a way for the
undercover Romulan/Terran hybrid to gather more
information on the fate of the Stone of Gol, a Vulcan
artefact that had been thought disposed of almost a
full century ago. According to the ramblings of the
Dralian merchant, the psyonic weapon had not been
destroyed as the Vulcan High Command had claimed, but
had been kept for research and later lost through some
yet to be determined means. Having spent the last two
hours gambling with the Dralian merchant without
having learned anything more, and after having lost
almost 1/5 of the fortune that she had been given for
the purpose of this mission, T'Pring decided to cut
her loses for the time being. "It is late, so if you
will excuse me I will retire to my quarters."
Pulling towards him his most recent winnings Guntiz
seemed truly surprised by the announcement made by the
Vulcan woman. "Late? This is the TANGIERS ORBITAL;
there are no nights or days here, only the pleasures
to satiate the most demanding of guests."
Looking at the Dralian with a look worthy of the most
cold and logical Vulcan, the Romulan/Terran hybrid did
not allow her disappointment in the waste of the last
hours show or be heard in her voice. "Then I leave
you in good hands and wish you continued good luck."
Walking away from Guntiz, the undercover operative
playing the dual role of a Tal'Shiar operative as well
as a Vulcan merchant was stopped when the Dralian
reached out and took hold of her arm. "If you go, my
luck will also be gone. I will not try to convince
you to stay, but at least give me the hope that my
luck will continue tomorrow when you and I meet
again."
Still hoping to learn more about the fate of the
Stone of Gol, the Romulan/Terran hybrid was pleased to
see that the last two hours might not have been a
complete waste since it had served to make Guntiz
believe that she was his lucky charm. Thinking that
some time apart could only serve to make him more
talkative, if that was in any realm of reality
possible, T'Pring nodded her agreement. "Tomorrow
morning at 8:00 at the entrance of the restaurant, we
can go for breakfast and discuss potential business
dealings."
Looking more than pleased with the prospect of seeing
the Vulcan woman again, the Dralian skipped away from
the Dabo table but not before having taken the
majority of his winnings leaving behind a sizable tip
to the women operating the infernal contraption.
Heading to the room that had been reserved for her
onboard the orbiting casino, the Romulan/Terran hybrid
hoped that Guntiz would prove to be as generous with
the information he possessed as he had been with the
credits that had had accumulated.

Looking forward to being alone after having been
surrounded by more people than she could have cared
for, the Romulan/Terran hybrid stepped into the room
that had been reserved for her only to find someone
already inside sitting in a chair hidden by the
shadows that filled the room. "I hope that you had
fun with that Dralian Sevaal, because there was a time
when I thought you would reach for him and snap that
little neck of his in order to shut him up. I have
never heard anyone ramble on for so long and say
nothing."
Having identified the accent of the unknown man as
being that of half her heritage and using the fact
that he had addressed her by her Romulan identity, the
ANUBIS' COO decided to play along. "I have been
through worse during training."
Standing while remaining hidden by the shadows
present in the room, the unknown man made the
Romulan/Terran hybrid think of another Intel operative
with a similar affinity for remaining concealed, but
that thought was quickly dismissed as Sevaal needed to
focus on the here and now and not compare the
similarities between the shape visible in the shadows
and the ANUBIS' ILO. Walking towards one of the
windows located behind the chair that he had been
sitting in; the Romulan man explained why he had come
to see the undercover Tal'Shiar operative. "We have a
situation; I was informed that our efforts to locate
some of the rogue elements within the Star Empire have
revealed that there is a Centurion with a highly
misplaced sense of duty who has been working with the
Cardassians again the Federation."
Playing her role as a Tal'Shiar operative to the best
of her abilities, the Romulan/Terran hybrid waited for
a few moments to see if more would be said before
making a comment that went against what she believed
in. "Using the Cardassians to undermine the
Federation does not sound like such a bad thing."
Looking at the man standing in front of the small
window, the Romulan/Terran hybrid could make out the
distinct features of a Romulan although the ambient
light had still been too weak to allow Sevaal to
attempt identifying him. "That is true, but there is
a right and wrong way to go about it, and that
Centurion is going about it in a way that could
jeopardize several other operations currently
underway. Your mission is a simple one, locate and
eliminate this loose canon before he does something
truly stupid. The Tal'Shiar has lured him here with
false Intel about a Federation ship and its captain,
and we have confirmed that he has taken the bate and
even dragged along with him some of his associates.
We need this resolved before it is too late. We
already suspect that SFI has dispatched operatives to
investigate the fate of their missing ship, so we need
to sever all links between that Centurion and the Star
Empire before the Federation can use what happened to
rally support against us. All the information we have
is on that PADD."
Glancing at the table that had been indicated by the
man with a motion of his hand, the Romulan/Terran
hybrid gave the Romulan just enough time to vanish as
if he had never been there once again making the
undercover operative think of another agent who moved
and acted very much in the same fashion. Picking up
the PADD, Sevaal carefully read the information that
she had been given, glad that her cover had been this
effective but soon realizing that this success had
been a doubled-edged sword. In addition of finding
out who T'Preel's Cardassian associates were, the
Tal'Shiar had given strict orders to Sevaal that the
Centurion never leave the TANGIERS ORBITAL and that
his acting outside of the Star Empire's jurisdiction
be made crystal clear to all.
Depositing the PADD back onto the small table, the
Romluan/Terran hybrid contemplated her unique position
in this affair, being a Starfleet Operative pretending
to be a Tal'Shiar agent now working to save the
Empire's political face with the Federation and
possibly avoid a war from breaking out between the two
powers.
