#087 - USS ANUBIS: Mei: Day 9 - 1900 ("Doing Good")

"Doing Good"

Stardate: 60321.1900
Setting: TANGIERS ORBITAL, turbolift 03

Simmons. She had to find Captain Simmons. That probably made her one of many thinking that thought, but Susan didn't care about the others at that moment. At that moment all she cared about was getting to the captain before David did some major damage... to himself or to the mission. She wasn't particularly worried about what he might do their new 'associates'... as long as it didn't compromise the mission... but she was worried that he may decide to *try* do something to them and end up getting himself hurt, killed or captured.

Susan would have tried to find the EXO first, but she remembered Commander Rikar telling her about her personal relationship with the CEO - over or not, the last thing that there needed to be added to the list of problems currently facing the crew of the ANUBIS was a frantic Second in Command.

As soon as the lift reached the fifth floor, Susan walked quickly and casually up to the information desk. She gave woman standing there a friendly smile, "Hi. I wonder if you can help me?"

"I am *here* to help you." the woman said smiling back, "How can I endeavor to fulfill your desires?"

"Well... I'm looking for someone..."

Stardate: 60321.1905
Setting: TANGIERS ORBITAL, corridor outside Simmon's quarters

After checking that the corridor around her was empty, Susan pressed the doorchime and waited. After she got no answer, she banged on the door. She was hoping that he was there. If he wasn't she didn't know what she'd do. She pressed the buzzer again and was rewarded by a "What in the hell is it?!" from inside as the door slid open.

James stood in the doorway looking shocked, "En... Niema Sol, what on... BAJOR are you doing here?"

Susan didn't waste any time, "We have a problem."

"And it was so bad that you had to come and find me *here*?" He did not look impressed.

Susan nodded, "Yes. I'm afraid I think it is."

Immediately the Andorian face became curious and conserned. "Then you'd better come in."

He stepped aside and let Susan enter first before checking the corridor quickly and following her inside.

Watching from the shadows, the Tal'Shiar operative ticked off a name on his list. It would make his superiors pleased... but he was passed caring about such trivialities. What mattered was that he was doing his job - he allowed himself a smile - and he was doing well.
