Setting: USS ANUBIS, Turbolift between Decks 15 and 16
As the lift sped to the lower levels of the ANUBIS,
the CEO leaned against the wall weary and
drained... then the sound that always made his blood
race.
=/\=RED ALERT=/\= came the disembodied voice of the the ANUBIS' executive officer.
"Stop!" the CEO said, "Main Engineering" he ordered the lift as it stopped and changed directions. When it stopped, David sprinted off the lift towards M.E...

Setting: Dreamscape
As David rounded the corner, he stopped abruptly and
stared off into space.
"What the hell?!" David exclaimed as he was looking at the darkness of space where his domain *should* have been. The edges of the ship was charred, frayed...
"Oh no" David thought as he back peddled and stumbled over his feet. The CEO hit the deck heard and saw a duplicate of himself lying next to him.
"Beautiful sight isn't it?" his double asked, "I'm proud of you David. You're finnaly accepting your destiny."
"Destiny? DESTINY?! Half the damned ship is gone and you're talking about me accepting my destiny?!"
"YES!" his doppelganger bellowed, "*this* is what revenge is David. The epitome of *everything* there is... this is it! And you have yourself to be thankful for."
"I had no part in this!" David snapped, "true enough I believe the ANUBIS to be a ancient, rustic throwback to a ship that should have died 60 years ago..."
"Save your speeches David" his doppelganger said, "relish in your victory. Your enemies will know not to cross you."
David glanced around. The only thing that remained of the ANUBIS was the deck he stood on.
"How is this possible?" he whispered, "this is beyond all laws of physics."
"*IF* that bitch survived the coldness of space and made *captain* then why can't you?! You're destined for *so* much more David, but you can *only* achieve it through me!"
"I don't believe you!" David said back peddling, "I don't believe you. I don't believe any of this. The ANUBIS... the crew... gone... I couldn't..."
"You did... and you will do it again" as his doppelganger rushed him and the darkness of death swarmed over him...

Stardate: 60324.1105
Setting: USS ANUBIS, Main Engineering.
David shook and looked around. He was standing outside of M.E. and he heard all hell breaking loose behing the doors. The doors opened... and David saw them.
"What the hell?!" the CEO said as these creatures lurked around the warp core. One creature was bleeding energy off the plasma coils and the other was tossing his engineers around.
"Stop" David said as he advanced. One of the creatures saw the massive CEO advancing and tossed 3 engineers aside.
As he passed the pool table, the grabbed 2 PADDs and hurled them in the direction of the creature. Both PADDs lodged in the creatures head and as it stumbled back, one of its appendages struck the CEO in the arm, slicing open his arm. The CEO winced in pain, broke off the appendage which caused the creature to shriek. Everyone on the engineering deck grabbed at their ears and collapsed to the deck. David dropped to one knee as blood seeped from his ears and before he lost consciousness, he impaled the creature in the chest. The shrieking stopped, the doors opened and the medic team rushed in.
"Good thing Doctor Summers sent us down here" one of the med techs said. They approached him first.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" the CEO bellowed as he stumbled to his feet, tapping his badge.
"Engineering to Security. Intruder alert! Repeat, intruder alert!" as he backed into a bulkhead and slid to the deck.
"Easy Lieutenant, its going to be..."
"Take care of them. *I'll* be fine" he growled.
"Lieutenant Dawson" one of the techs pleaded, "you're bleeding profusely." and they applied a hypo spray to his neck. The cooling hiss calmed the CEO.
"His eyes" one of the techs said, "did you see his eyes?"
The senior med tech tapped her badge, "O'Hara to Sickbay"
=/\=Go ahead=/\= came the voice of Doctor Summers.
"Doctor, we have several causalities down here, but..."
=/\=But *what*?=/\= Lea replied.
"Lieutenant Dawson has been seriously injured. His cardiac artery in his arm and neck has been severed and he's bleeding..."
=/\=Then inact a site to site emergency transport to Sickbay. We'll be waiting. Summers out=/\=
O'Hara looked at the other two techs. "Stay here. I'll go..." and a small fire broke out on the engineering deck and damage control teams scrambled.
=/\=Rikar ro engineering. What the devil's going on down there?! We've lost warp.=/\=
No one answered the ANUBIS' CO and she repeated her statement.
"Captain, this is Lieutenant Yates. Lieutenants Dawson and T'Reni are down, we have intruders... well... had intruders down here and we're evacuating M.E."
=/\=Ken, what the hell's happening down there?=/\=
"We were invaded Captain. T'Reni was severly burned, David's bleeding..."
=/\=Do what you have to Ken. Bridge out.=/\=
Just as Sabrina closed the channel, Ken barked orders and the tech send David to Sickbay.
