Setting: NEW ALEXANDRIA, Section G, Level 1, Containment Area Alpha
Stardate: 60326.1545
David sat admist a stack of PADDs that were left for him by Lieutenant Commander Serenna. One of the things she instructed him to do was to write down anything he could remember about his temperament and the reactions from the time he was possessed in the DOUGEON EXPANSE. David compiled as much as he could remember but there was always this nagging voice in the back of his mind.
**Search further back** he kept hearing. It wasn't Richard, but it could have been. Richard had played and caused enough hell for the CEO but he pressed on. The guard brought his dinner and stared at him after he left David's cell.
"Why'd you do it?" the guard asked.
"Why'd I do what?" David replied not looking up from the PADD.
"I heard you killed Lieutenant Commander Enaii. Why?"
David looked up at him. "I did no such thing and I'd advise you to be careful of your speculations Lieutenant."
The junior officer smirked. "I don't have to take orders from prisoners and murderers."
"Prisoner or not... murderer or not, I *still* outrank you."
The guard laughed as David went back to his work. There was something that was stomping him in his memory but he couldn't remember what. He placed the PADD on the small table and picked over his food as his mind drifted...

Setting: STARBASE 515, DREAMSCAPE
The shop...there it was...the same shop where he purchased the full length mirror for her. Surely a special gift as the one he was searching for could be found here. After looking for more than a hour he didn't see what he wanted. The CEO of the USS AVALON searched shop after shop to no avail... until he ran across a merchant.
"Looking for something special my friend?"
"I am" David replied, "I'm looking for a gift for my girlfriend."
"What kind of gift?" the female asked.
"Jewelry. A ring..." David replied sheepishly.
"Ah... looking for just a simple ring? Or?..."
David nodded, "Yes. 'Or'" the CEO replied with a smile.
"I think she'd like this one, no?" she asked and produced the ring.
"Perfect" David said and paid for it by placing his right thumb on a PADD.
"She must be very special to you" she said.
"Very much so" David replied, "she'd have to be if I'm about to ask her to marry me."
And off he went. As David made his way through the promenade to the restaurant Samantha, Beth, Serenna, and Maya were having lunch, a shadowy figure loomed behind the massive CEO. She had her suspicions about the AVALONs second officer and chief of operations since she joined the crew, but she'd be damned before he let him do what he was about to.

TIME INDEX: 3 DAYS LATER
The red headed operations officer opened her eyes and looked at the sleeping form of the AVALONs chief engineer. He had held a vigil at her side for 3 days Doctor Ennis told her as he slept quietly. She reached out and touched his shoulder.
"Wake up Lance" she said gently shaking the massive engineer. He slowly stirred and opened his eyes.
"Sammi" he said with a smile and hugged her, "you're awake."
"No thanks to your snoring" she said as he looked at her.
"What happened to your eyes?" he asked.
"Nothing" she replied.
"Did you have them changed?" he asked.
"What are you talking about?" Samantha replied as he held a bad side mirror up for her to see. The crystal blue hue in her eyes was replaced by a beautiful emerald green.
"Wow... I like them even better now" she said smiling.
"So do I" the CEO replied as he cleared his throat, "Sammi... there's something I wanted to ask you and I tried to ask you before you fainted in my arms..."
"Excuse me" Doctor Ennis interrupted, "let her rest David" she said with a smile. She knew what he was about to ask but believed that Lieutenant Commander Rikar needed more rest. David nodded and smiled.
"I'll se you soon. I have to meet with Lieutenant Commander Murphy and I heard he's a stickler on engines." and with that he left. Once outside Sickbay, he glanced into his vest pocket. The ring was still there and before long, it will be on her hand.

TIME INDEX: 3 days after Sabrina regained her memories
He paced back and forth. He had been waiting to talk to her for almost 3 days. She was being skirted by the AVALONs new intelligence officer, Lieutenant Commander Enaii. For some strange reason, Commander Simmons had asked the CEO to keep his distance from the second officer and he had asked Captain Reardon-Marx if that was an order and she agreed. Commander Rikar was still recovering but she agreed to meet with him. The chime of his door...
"Come" and she entered. Before he could speak, she beat him to the punch.
"David... I want you to listen and please don't be mad."
"How could I be mad?" the CEO asked, "but I would like to know why Commander Enaii won't let me near you."
"David" she said taking the CEO by the hand and leading him to a seat, "there's something you need to know about her."
Sabrina paused as her eyes welled up. David looked at her as worry started to permeate his mind.
"I don't know how to say this easily so I'll just say it. I can no longer see you like we've been seeing each other."
David's brows knitted together, "You can't..." he paused, "why?"
"My memories have come back to me. Everything that you and I have searched for has hit me in the head like a bolt of plasma" she said, "and there's something you..."
"Sammi... just say it" David said inching closer to her. She stood and walked away from him.
"Enaii's my wife"
David's heart exploded in his chest.
"Wife?!" the CEO said confused, "but... how? You told me that you've never been married. How..."
"I don't remember the date exactly, but she showed me this" she said producing a PADD. A marriage certificate.
David's mind ran away at high warp. "Sammi... I don't understand." he said standing and waling toward her
"David... please" she said as the tears streamed down her face, "don't. I'm married and I can't continue on like this."
"But what about me?! What about *us*?! Am I just supposed to walk away and let you go?"
His door chimed again.
"Go away!" David boomed and the doors opened. There stood the blonde haired ILO.
"Sabrina" she said as she approached and placed her arm around her and she glared at the CEO.
"I would appreciate it if you stayed away from my wife. She's in a fragile state right now and I *don't* need you complicating things. And I'm warning you Lieutenant. You *don't* want to piss me off." Her ice blue eyes glaring at the CEO. As they turned to leave Sabrina stopped and approached him. She gestured for David to lean forward and she kissed his cheek.
"We'll always have Camelot" she whispered in his ear and left.
The doors to his quarters closed. His breath was erratic. His blood boiled. Anger washed over the CEO. He picked up the holo-emitter and threw it against the wall. He slung PADDs off his desk. He basically tore his quarters apart and as he went to shatter the mirror she bought him... he stopped... the look was evil... the eyes... menacing... the stare... cold and soulless...

David shook his head. He heard the laughter in the back of his mind.
**You finally figured it out. Never thought you would** as the laughter continued.
"Leave me alone!" David said grinding his knuckles into his temples, "LEAVE ME ALONE!"
The laughter grew louder and stronger, **Face facts David... you've lost. She doesn't want you... she doesn't trust you... you *killed* her wife. No one on the ship trusts you... friends... officers... your own staff! Can't you see?! Your life is OVER!**
"NO!" the CEO boomed as the guard looked at him.
"Who in the hell are you talking to?!" he asked as David ignored him.
The CEO reached for his comm badge. Damn. They removed it before they locked him up.
"Contact Commander Serenna immediately!" David said as the guard smirked.
"Pipe down and shut up" he said.
"I *don't* have time to play games with you dammit! Contact her immediately!"
The guard pressed a button on his console and it released astatine gas.
"NO!" David said covering his mouth and nose, "damn you" he said as the gas took hold of him sending the CEO into darkness.
