With the new piece to the puzzle there was no chance of getting some rest but Captain Rikar knew that she needed her officers fresh so she ordered them to shower and change before reporting to the Observation Lounge. At least it might give the impression of a break from one's duty station.

Prav had no desire to be off the bridge for any length of time so he jogged back to his quarters as quick as he could. The shower did feel good and did help give the psychological impression that he was starting a new day.

He could help but feel a little excited at the prospect of this new adversary though he doubted anyone else on the bridge shared his anticipation. A glance in the mirror told him he needed a shave as he noticed the dark shadow the stubble cast across his chin.

A few minutes later, feeling fresh and ready to take on the world, he dashed off to the Observation deck for the briefing.

Although he wouldn't admit it, he was very disappointed with the Captains decision not to go after this now named new adversary. He understood that the current mission was their priority but there was no reason they couldn’t go after the Imperians after they had accomplished the mission at SURIAL III.

The news of the probe was enough to draw Pravs thought momentarily away from his disappointment and he kept a close eye on the progress of the probe. Uxtar had relayed the HATHOR’s plan and now all that was left to do was watch. If he had been a superstitious person, Prav may have crossed his fingers but in lieu of that, all he could do was watch and hope that the HATHOR's crew had gambled correctly.

He had spent most of his time going over what littler information he could find on the Imperians. He was more curious about them then worried and hoped deep down that after the retrieval or the attempt at retrieval of Lt. Commander Enaii, Captain Riker would reconsider and order them deeper into Cardassian space and after the Imperians. It wasn’t that he was concerned about the Carrdassians, in fact, after SURIAL III he didn’t really care if any of the Cardassians survived; he just wanted a crack at this new challenge.

"Lieutenant, any changes in the probes' trajectory?" Rikar said, interrupting his thoughts.

A quick glance at the sensor reports gave him his answer. "No, Sir. The probe is still on an intercept course with the ANUBIS. The HATHOR has moved itself into position and should be ready to initiate the energy pulse."
