Setting: USS ANUBIS, CMO's Quarters
Lea could still feel them. The dermal-regenerator had erased the marks,
but still Lea felt the soreness. All of the muscle tissue had been
repaired, yet Lea still felt the pain. The CMO knew that there had been no
*medical* reason for her to feel this way. Physiologically Lea had been
in perfect shape; that had been why she had been released to her
quarters. Psychologically speaking though the CMO had still bared the marks
of the brutal attack she had been the victim of. What had made this
exceptionally difficult for Lea to deal with had been the reason why she
had been attacked. Enaii.
The moment the door closed behind the CMO, Lea collapsed to the floor.
Had someone been in the room with her, they might have thought she had
been hurt. Maybe her legs had not been as repaired as they should have
been. Maybe her muscles had become too tired from her trip from
Sickbay. Through the silence of her quarters, the reason for Lea's fall soon
became apparent. The CMO had fallen to her knees. Crying.
There are no ways to know how a mission will affect a crew or a member
of this crew. In most cases people bathe in their success or learn
from their failure and move on. Lea had learnt a valuable lesson, one
that focussed around the ANUBIS' ILO. In time, Lea would learn to deal
with the pain she felt. In time the CMO would find a way to curb her
desires to see Enaii pay for what she had done. In time all would be back
to normal, but that time was not now.
The vase had flown across the room with an almost poetic grace. That
was until it collided with the far wall and shattered into a million
pieces. The small statuette and picture frame which followed a few
seconds later also suffered the same fate. Had there been more items at
arm's reach, Lea would have not hesitated to repeat the gesture. Luckily
the extent of the CMO's destructive spree had been forced to an end.
Lea started at the wall where the three items had met their end. The
CMO no longer felt the pain in her legs and arms. What Lea felt though
reached much deeper than mere flesh and muscles.

Lea had asked the computer to recreate the corridor found under the castle on IRRAJ. It had taken a little while but the CMO had spared no detail. Even the stench of the dungeons had been recreated to just as sickening.
Since the computer could not recreate members of the crew, at least
without informing them, Lea had to improvise. The holographic person who
had been made to wear the colours of Intel had been of the same height
and stature as Enaii. Only the face had different, but not enough for
the CMO not to see the loathed woman in the recreation.

Susan had been happy to find that Lea had been dismissed back to her quarters. What the Cns had discovered there had caused Susan to grow very concerned. A single broken vase could have easily been an accident.
Three broken objects which held some significance to Lea had pointed to something else. Susan had wasted no time to ask the computer to locate the CMO.
At first Susan thought that it might be best not to intrude. Lea
needed time and space to complete her healing. The Cns wondered if maybe it
might have been better if she had been there to help, but Susan knew
that for some solitude was best.
After a few minutes though Susan figured that Lea would likely welcome
her *friend*. This was a time of emotional need and being alone was
likely not the best thing. When Susan ordered the doors open though, the
Cns gasped in horror at the sight that immediately met her senses.
There had been no doubt that the form which had been *nailed* to the
wall had been meant to be that of the ILO. The pool of blood which had
gathered at the base of the wall indicated that this had not been a
recent development. As Susan walked closed her soul chilled. The marks
which had been left on the fake Enaii had been brutal to say the least.
The Cns suspected that even Uxtar would have been troubled by the sight.
"You should not be here," Lea hissed, the instrument of her deeds
firmly in her grasp.
"Lea, please, put the knife down. I am here as your friend. Let's
talk," Susan cautiously said. The Cns had never seen such rage in Lea's
eyes and to be honest Susan feared for her own safety.
"She needs to pay for what she did to me," Lea growled in an almost
Klingon way. Seconds passed before the CMO turned and slashed at the
woman hanging on the wall. The ferocity of the slash sent blood flying
through the air. The screams of agony from the hologram only made the
scene that much more nightmarish. Again the blade cut through the woman's
flesh and again the air was filled with a scream.
"LEA! Remember your oath," Susan pleaded.
The CMO glared at her friend for a moment then down at the blade in her
hand. After a few seconds the knife slipped loose from Lea's hand and
fell to the ground shortly followed by a sobbing CMO.
