As Elliot stared into the water he started to daydream about how life was before this catastrophe had happened to the ANUBIS crew.

Setting: USS ANUBIS, Inside Elliot Thomas's sleeping quarters

ET could hear a faint screaming noise, which started to become louder by the second until he realised he had just been awakened by the noise of his children squabbling. "*What the hell is going on through there?*" the COO shouted through to the sitting quarters. As usual there was no reply to his question. He looked at the clock on the far wall in his sleeping quarters and saw that it was 10:15hrs, "Oh crap, I'm late, I was suppose to meet Aki in the BLACK HOLE at 10:00hrs for breakfast" Ensign Thomas shouted to himself as he jumped from his bed.

Elliot rushed into the sitting quarters to have it out with his kids before he had a quick sonic shower and got ready. ET had a confused look on his face as he got into the sitting quarters as the room was empty, "them damn kids have done a runner again" he said with a chuckle in his voice as they obviously knew they were going to get a talking too.

There was a loud crack behind the COO that shook him from his daydream, he turned around with speed and agility into a pose that was ready to retaliate any attack against him. ET was relieved to see a Quoolite standing on a branch, a Quoolite is an animal which is native to this forest but quite harmless, although it does make good food when cooked, but this was not a time to be catching food. Elliot gathered himself together and went back to the stream, he got a water canister from his hip pocket, he knew he was going to have to be quick when getting this water. Elliot swiped his hand with the canister through the water extremely quickly and after a split second he jumped back just as a huge tentacled arm came out of the water and swiped the air with the intent to catch anything in its grasp.
