| Sakura Avalon / Kinomota Sakura :NAME (in season 1) 10 :AGE Syaoran :LIKES Being Teased by her brother, Math and Ghosts :DISLIKES Tori (brother), Fujitaka (Father) :FAMILY Sakura is a strong-willed girl, caring, compasionate and kind of a klutz. Sakura becomes a cardcaptor when she opens the seal of the Clow Book and lets the Clow Cards free. She is on the cheerleading team at her school and you can often find her rollerblading to her destinations. At first Sakura isn't all that great at capturing the cards (but hey give her a break she just started and just discouverd her magical powers). No one lets her know of this more than Syaoran. During Final Judgement Sakura's strong will and caring heart come through, and she is granted the right to be the new mistress of the Clow Cards. Buy this time Sakura and Syaoran are now inseperable friends. In the third season we see that Syaoran falls in love with Sakura (awww) Sakura is completely oblivious of course until episode 69, when Syaoran tells her that he loves her. Sakura doesn't realise it till the second movie, but she loves him too. Sakura's mentor is Kero, who often hides in her backpack when she goes otherplaces besides school, and her brother Sakura's mother died when she was very young and lives with her brother and her father |
| NAME: Li Syaoran AGE: 10 (in season 1) LIKES: Sakura (aaawwww) DISLIKES: Kero-chan FAMILY: His mother and Four sisters who live in Hong Kong and Meling (cousin) Syaoran is a direct decendant of Clow Reed, creator of the Clow Cards. At first when he appears in the series he is arrogant and just plain rude. Syaoran is also trying to capture the Clow Cards, meaning he is Sakura's competition. He constantly tells her that she is a discrace and pathetic. But after a period of time Syaoran and Sakura begin to see that they both need eachother's help, and soon become friends and alies. During Final Judgement Syaoran doesn't do so well and loses all the cards he captured to Yue. You would think Syaoran would be a sore loser when Sakura becomes the new mistress of the cards, but no, he is extatic for Sakura. In the first episode of the third season Syaoran is supposed to be leaving for Hong Kong but that all changes after Eriol shows up (who Syaoran thinks is a rival for Sakura's heart). Syaoran has fallen in love with Sakura and turns red every time he is around her (he also blows a gasket whenever he sees Eriol around her). Syaoran cares more for her safety now than ever, and feels that he must protect her at all costs, even if it means getting hurt himself. Syaoran uses special incantations and his sword as his magical weapons, he also occasionally uses a lazen board. |
| NAME: Madison Taylor / Daidouji Tomoyo AGE: 10 (in season 1) LIKES: Sakura, Filming Sakura's Captures, singing and making Sakura battle costumes DISLIKES: Missing Sakura's Captures. Tomoyo is a great person and Sakura's best friend. Tomoyo is always following Sakura around whenever she goes to capture or transform cards. She is often accompanied by her bodyguards until she gets to her destination. Tomoyo also has a passion for cloths. She has a whole van full of costumes for Sakura to battle in. She has costumes for facing all sorts of elements (ie, fire, lightning ect.). Some of her costumes are a little elaborate but they look great! Tomoyo also has an excellent singing voice! There are also lots of hints throughout the series (in particular the third season) that Tomoyo loves Sakura. In the third season Tomoyo also makes it her duty to get Syaoran to express his feelings of love to Sakura. What a Matchmaker! |
| Kero / Cerberus :NAME Who Knows? :AGE Sweets, Video Games :LIKES Shoaran :DISLIKES Kero is the Guardian Beast of the Seal. He first meets Sakura when she unlocks the seal to the Clow Cards. Kero appoints her as Cardcaptor and their partnership and friendship begins. While Sakura is at school Kero can be found in Sakura's room rather playing video games, or sleeping. His favorite part of the day is when he gets to eat. The form Kero has for the majority of the Clow Card season(s) is his earthly form, but after Sakura captures all 4 element cards Kero gains the ability to go to his true form, Keroberos (the beast on the front of the Clow book). |
