| Sakura and Syaoran, could there be a cuter couple? I don't think so! The progression is a long story filled with ups and downs but ends happily ever after. In the first season no one would even think that a relationship between Sakura and Syaoran would be possible. When the two weren't competing for cards they were down each other's throats. But that changes, Sakura's kind heart and personality sends Syaoran head over heals in love with her.. Its not until the 3rd season that we see the extent of Syaoran's love. Sakura being somewhat naive knows that Syaoran is acting wierd but has no idea why. Syaoran almost always has a rosy glow in his cheeks when he is around Sakura or when he thinks of her. In episode 69 he finally tells Sakura how he feels about her! In episode 70 we see Sakura struggling with herself, she even admits to herself that she loves Syaoran but she is confused as she was when she thought she loved Yukito but in reality it was love like family not true love. When Sakura finds out he is leaving without telling her she races to see him, and ends up getting the teddy bear that he had made for her way back in episode 51. Then their love story is left sort of hanging, a perfect way for the makers of the series to get lots of people to go see teh second movie which follows after season 3. The Love story is somewhat resolved and is so darn cute cause now it is Sakura who is all blushy and jittery around Syaoran. |
