Although the Ditzettes don't know who he is until the end of the first season, he becomes good friends with all of them. As the only person TBP will call a friend, he frequently ends up both saving TBP or being saved by him. He's also constantly in fear for his job because the NNLA has very strict rules about interference. He actually got fired in the fourth season, but got his job back after several episodes of the Ditzettes harrassing the NNLA board, when he almost died saving the life of one of the NNLA officials. Because he is TBP's only real "friend", the Antiditz is constantly trying to use him to his advantage. Even once he is captured however, Nathan remains a true friend to both TBP and the Ditzettes. Eventually he loses his job because he is involuntarily interfering when he becomes Superditz's weakness, but no one explains why to him. He has a brief stint as an evil penguin then. After this incident, and a rather complicated but unexplained situation with Superditz, he returns to his position as the Narrator, but takes a more active role in the episodes. Throughout all series, The Narrator has a huge influence on all the Ditzettes. Especially Superditz and TBP. He is also fiercely protective of Superditz, which tends to get him into trouble. |
