  ABOUT DIVA                                                                                                                Home
DIVA is a small, non-profit group of Indian students  who have aspiration to stand  for the people
residing in remote Indian  villages.  The  group  was first established  on the eve of third  January,
2005 to  accumulate fund for  the devastating 'Tsuanmi' affected people in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, an Indian territory. Later,  the members decided to continue their service to provide some basic  needs among  the  poeple living  in Indian villages. Initially,  we had a small  group with only ten people.  However,  the  number is  gradually increasing  in a slow but steady rate.  Today,  we have members from different parts of India, United States of America and Germany. Though most of the DIVA members are students,  we welcome people from all parts of society to stand beneath a  single  umbrella,   with  a single aim and motivation. The DIVA mantra is,
"feel with insight,  help without reservation."
