Alexis assures her client she has a sure-fire strategy for dealing with Carly. Meanwhile, Lorenzo cautions Carly to choose her words carefully while giving her deposition. Courtney happily welcomes Nikolas home, then is surprised to learn that he actually returned to Port Charles the night before. Sonny asks Emily to look after his sons while he's being deposed in the Ruiz case. Bobbie is disappointed to discover that Noah has fallen off the wagon once again. Courtney explains to an irate Nikolas how she wound up at the hotel party with Jax. Alexis and Ric question Carly about the change in Jason following his accident years ago. Emily confides to Elizabeth how her sexual fantasies about Sonny have intensified. Nikolas informs Courtney that he kissed Emily at midnight on New Year's Eve. Warning Jason that Durant is looking to incriminate them both, Sonny reminds his enforcer why Manny cannot live long enough to stand trial. Noah rebuffs Bobbie's efforts to talk him into getting help for his drinking problem. Durant has surveillance cameras installed in and around Manny's hospital room. Emily advises Nikolas not to let his fight with his girlfriend tear them apart. Across town, Jax lends a tearful Courtney a sympathetic ear. Sam urges Jason not to terminate Manny before the trial. Durant places both Ric and Alexis under arrest for obstruction of justice after Ruiz's co-counselors accuse the D.A. of entrapment. Later, Carly rushes to the compound to demand that Sonny call off the hit while Sam hurries to the hospital in hopes of stopping Jason in time.
Nikolas is annoyed to find Jax comforting Courtney yet again. Durant threatens to charge both Sam and Jason with murder, then is unpleasantly surprised to discover that Manny is alive and well. At the compound, Sonny reminds an agitated Carly that she shouldn't be stressing over Jason's safety or his own war with her repulsive father. Nikolas angrily suggests to Courtney that their relationship doesn't stand a chance if a mere three days apart sends her running to her ex-husband for consolation. Carly fumes when Sonny invites Emily to join him for dinner. Durant is forced to release Ric and Alexis from jail. Jason explains to Sam why she can't question him about his work now that things are back to "normal." Patrick urges a guilt-ridden Noah to turn his life around by checking into a rehab clinic and getting sober so they can mend some fences in desperate need of repair. Buoyed by several glasses of wine, Emily makes it clear to Sonny how charming and attractive she finds him. Nikolas and Courtney kiss and make up following their quarrel. Jax is taken aback to learn that Dr. Lee has requested a copy of the original paternity test results from the lab. Alexis agrees to let Ric become her co-counsel for the Ruiz case. Carly interrupts Sam's romantic plans to entreat Jason to put a halt to his sister's "date" with Sonny. Across town, Emily informs a startled Sonny that she's falling in love with him. |
