Lauren finally unties Sheila who starts to help remove the vent. As they work, Sheila admits that her anger and evilness comes from her environment when "they" tormented her to the point where she almost committed suicide at the age of 12. Sheila eventually pulls the vent cover off. Warning Michael she's concerned about his drinking, Chris asks for his help with Ashley's case. He argues about taking over the case and assures her that he's not going to revert to the man he was before she and Lauren changed him. After she leaves, Michael calls Ashley. Victor chats with Jack about John and both find themselves agreeing that neither of them wants Ashley in prison. Victor leaks that Brad proposed to Victoria and both realize that neither is thrilled by the news. Surprisingly, Victor offers his help to Jack if he needs it. Brad lays into Ashley for going after Tom, lecturing her that she should have thought of their daughter when she did. She insists that she did what she had to do but won't explain. After Brad exits, Victor arrives and offers his help to Ashley, promising to talk to the DA and testify if she wants him to do so. Ashley later checks in with Jack who warns her about accepting any help from Victor. At the coffeehouse Devon explains to Neil that his mom has a full time job now. Neil tells him that he and Dru had a long talk with Lily who has agreed to end her relationship with Daniel. He hands him a letter she wrote and asks him to give it to Daniel. Nick complains to Sharon that Brad's trying to "move on with his agenda" by marrying his boss. Sharon agrees that he's making a mistake but warns Nick not to say anything to his sister. She later confronts Brad and after he claims he can love her and Victoria at the same time, calls him a liar.
Brad advises Nikki and Victoria that Ashley's been arrested for Tom's murder and offers to cancel the engagement because he could end up as Abby's full time father. Victoria assures him this doesn't change anything. Nikki tells Victor and pleads with him to stay out of Ashley's troubles but Victor insists on helping Abby. Lauren helps get Sheila up on the table near an air vent and then jumps down to plug the gas leak with a nearby blanket. Sheila's stunned that Lauren saved her life and offers to help her loosen the vent cover if Lauren will untie her hands. Paul and Scott argue with Michael about using a memorial service to draw Sheila out of hiding. Michael finally relents and Paul insists that Scott come with him. Kevin listens as J.T. confides to Mac that he'd like them to have the loft to themselves. Mac suggests he's being selfish and doesn't want to "share her" with anyone. Kevin finally makes himself known as he walks out and Mac continues to support the current living arrangements. Paul and Scott interrupt and Paul assigns J.T. to help make calls about the memorial service. Meanwhile, Mac seeks advice from Kay and admits that while she can tell Kevin anything, she still doesn't trust J.T. Kay wonders who makes the decisions in her relationship. She admits she doesn't know. Offering solace to his brother about the memorial service, Kevin asks Michael if he'd mind if he and Scott moved in with him and Michael okays the idea. Awake finally, John tells Ashley, Jack and Gloria he doesn't remember anything after the call in the living room. Kicked out by the nurse, Ashley insists no one tell her father about Tom and then finds Abby and tells her about Tom's death. |
