This was my trip to Gilboa, I went down there with another dive buddy just to do some dives, and we did his first night dive, While I was there I learned how to blow a ring shaped bauble while in deco or safety, And it only works in shallow water about 30 feet and up.  There was loads of  Fish, I did not put the fish in this because there are so many pics that I have of fish. We camped out there for two days and drove back the next day, I took Mike (my dive buddy) the deepest that he had ever been on at that time, to around 70 feet, the air temp was not that bad, but the water did get cold after about the first half hour.  And at depth it was even colder but still not bad. The camping that I did was not that bad, there was a store in the town just a few minutes away, and we made the famous Tin foil dinner, over an open fire. I would go there again but to me Gilboa seemed like only a one time thing until they add new things down there, but I would go back to go do more night diving off the rock wall, and see the fish, The fish and the rocks are the highlight of the dives to me, the plan and other boats where cool but I think it was over-rated. The ropes did make navigating easy and I found the maps did help also. Things I think you should see if you go, would be the Plan, bus, Pop machine (not on map and need to navigate to find) and the majority of the small boats, If you have a dive plan you should dive deep end and not go explore the bottom but go to only about half way to about 60 feet and swim along the wall.

This is a plastic head that was put inside of the school bus. The seats ware still in the bus and made it hard to go into it so when i did i did not have that much room to take a pic from that end! If you hit the top of the bus a lot of Fish will come out.

A diver over did himself while we where there, This is why you plan your dive and dive your plan, The Guy was back diving the next day or at least i was told. Others have not been that lucky.
