In our lives, so many people come and go, and even many friends will come and go. But eventually when we stop and reflect we can find those who really stick in our minds due to some special message that they brought to us each in their own way. This is the purpose I want to set for this page. Each individual who touches our lives comes to us in their own unique way. I know that I am in them and they are in me. Thus, by pointing out their individual unique qualities, I can find those qualities that have been added to me, as each special messenger does for each person alive.

JAY (HYONG-SEOK)

My best friend from high school who had so much energy to just take on the world with it. He was the reason I was able to visit S. Korea the first time, which I'll never forget. He is now in LA studying to be in the movie business. He is officially the first Korean friend I have who has made such a grand impact on my life. He was always full of life and vision.

One of my bestest buddies. I feel like I've known her before too. I can't even count the times that she has inspired me anymore through her own hard times. Rarely do I find such a reciprocal inspirational friendship as with Rie. She was inspired by countless hundreds of pages I wrote to her trying to cheer her up and whatnot, but what I bet she didn't know is that she inspired me first.

Your excitement and determination for life is amazing to me. It always puts a smile on my face. I've certainly been blessed with having met and getting to know you. Your love of languages is amazing to me as well, as I love languages myself. I know you can do well in your current language studies in China. Go Haeran!!! ^_^

Who and what you are inspires me to communicate with you the things I do, and I am most thankful for your ears and positive thinking. I know there are some current struggles in your life, and I know they can be overcome for you, as our answers usually lie beyond what we currently perceive. Try going past some of your boundaries. We've been friends forever. You changed my life forever for the good. We met in Korea so long ago, and what I have been most amazed with your determination and perseverance to stay connected with me while I was in the military. I thank you so much for all of your deeper spiritual letters to me, as they helped me spiritually to a great degree. You were my first sister, and I still remember our first days at Ajou University in Suwon as if they were trapped in time. You were both an older sister and nearly a mom to me, as you took a fancy for! I'll certainly never forget the one who impacted my life the most.

We took on the challenge of being roommates with financial friction living in expensive areas.
