The greatest commission

An owner of a house hired a laborer to repair his
house roof. But disobediently, the hired laborer left the
employees instructions and start painting the house as soon as his
master set his back out on his way. How will the house owner feel,
if he comes back and find the laborer painting the house rather than
repairing the roof instead? This question, Oswald J. Smith asked in
his book titled, “The challenge of mission.” One may expect the
Laborers master to be happy since it means painting his house to make
it beautiful, but not so. The laborer was doing the right thing at the
wrong time. The behavior of the above illustrated laborer is so
common among us the so called Christians. We are Christ's
laborers hired in God's vineyard but unfortunately, we have left
what we were asked to do, diverting to a different direction.
And he said unto them (Christians) go ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved” Mark 16:15.

This is our supreme task, the last instruction of Jesus
before he left physically from earth to heaven, any other
thing we are to do in addition to this given instruction is
supplementary and may not be too important.
It is on this stand point of Christ's heartbeat,
“DIVINE GRACE WORLD MISSIONARIES”
is formed. The instruction is given to all Christians no matter
your denomination and sect. If you are one of those who were called
after Christ's named, you are responsible of this duty. God will not
be interested to know what and how much you've spent in erecting
towers of Cathedral, monuments, big Churches and
fenced cities while the souls were there perishing in hunger
of his gospel, that will only mean painting or rendering sacrifices
which may not be required. How much have you
invested in his Kingdom for letting the unreached, reach
with the gospel, is the question on board? As Christ's laborer
where do you belong, as an ambassador or a helper, prayer
intercessor? If you are not willing to go are you willing to supply the
tools or your option is none of the above mentioned? You must fix up
yourself somewhere to join and run this great task else you will
have a great question to answer before the Lord on the last day.
“Whom shall I send and who will go for me” once again God asked.
One may see the springing up of churches in this new generation
as winning more souls to Christ evidently, not so. Most Churches
as groups are rising, instead of to help and break the hedge of
Paganism, heathenism and give room to Christianity but we are
fighting ourselves as if we have two different divine focus. Instead
of counting the number of souls won to Christ, we are counting
the number of people in attendance at each church service, of
course that determines the amount of money we will make. We
beautify Churches with gold, silver and flowers as to attract money
contributors rather than to heaven candidates. “And Samuel
said, Hath the lord as great delight in burnt offerings and
sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
and to hearken than the fat of rams.
1 Samuel 15:22.
