| YOU CAN HELP GET WINE & LIQUOR STORE IN ST. GEORGE I have spoken with Mr. Kellen, Operations Manager at the DABC (Dept. of Alcohol Beverage Controle). He told me that he was glad to get my call, as he has had so many calls saying that the people did not want a new Liquor Store. He says that they are looking for property and if it is approved, they might have the new store in by Christmas. This store will be 3 times as large as the present one and have all the botique wines, etc. as the stores in SLC. This is so important to us! Let's let them know how much we want this. PLEASE MAKE THAT CALL OR WRITE THAT LETTER NOW!!! Call the DABC (Dept. of Alcohol Beverage Controle) HOT LINE # is 1-800-831-8122 and ask for the Operations Manager, Mr. Kellen. OR write to Governor's Office State Capitol Complex Suite E220 Salt Lake City, Utah 84114-2220 or use this form again at governor.utah.gov |

| I have lived in Utah in the Salt Lake City area and St. George are for almost 30 years and feel that it is a shame that St. George only has ONE wine store for the entire county. There are very small package stores in a couple of other places, but nothing like I am used to. Even the Liquor Store here in St. George, where I currantly reside, has a very unacceptable variety of wine and liquor. I am currently very interested in wine most and the selection is so small that I know many people that are going to Mesquite and Las Vegas to pick up wines that they enjoy. I have heard that there might be another Liquor Store going in in our area and would like to take this oportunity to put in my vote for another one and suggest that you have a much better selection of wine, like in Salt Lake, put in there. I have met Evelyn Asmus, here in your store, and feel she would make some great decisions about what wines to stock there. I hope you can get this new store in and we look forward to seeing more of our friends there, rather than in Mesquite or Las Vegas, buying wine and liquor. | ||||||
