Hatyai 2006 Songkran Trip

After days of rest, finally restore a bit of strength to write FR:

This year songkran trip is basically personal trip, bring a friend who is 1st time going to Hatyai, here i refer him as Alex.

After finish my work on 11th, ask Alex to book bus ticket from konsortium, ticket is RM 40/pax, departure time: 9.30am Double decker bus... we expect to arrive Hatyai around 6pm something, KNN, the bus turn into taiping to pick up another driver, waste time, finally end up at Hatyai around 8pm....

During at the border, check with the boss there, he said this year is full of crowd, buses que long, and morning around 6am people quarrel bcoz of the que

Anyway, we change our money, rate : 1020baht, and eat some food.... on the way going into hatyai, rain...

When the bus slowly proceed into hatyai town, already saw people splasing water... i told Alex to wrap his HP and watches into plastic bag.. when the bus arrive Variety Tour ( Konsortium Terminal), we quickly run to counter to book room..

Look for my favourite Merlin Hotel. Fully Book.... Then the counter gals check another few hotel, also fulll, finally she get Grand Plaza hotel just few steps from Lee Garden( New), For 1300baht ( Normal price 680 Baht), OK, book 2 night, and quickly book the return bus ticket on 15th morning 10.30am at 600baht( price increase)

Then we grab our bag run to Grand Plaza, unable to avoid the attack, spash.......... gosh, my black bag become white bag... cold ice water, when enter the main entrance of Grand Plaza hotel, SPLASH>>....... again... wet wet wet.... and cold, quickly go check in and change shirt.

Call up some old bird who arrive earlier, take motor tuk tuk, and arrive Daiichi Hotel, after talk cock, then my friend ask me to relax and go massage first.. okay la, bring Alex to massage.. Call up Emperor ++... he is quite busy, unable to meet up at 1st night. Massage: (240baht+ 100baht tips)

After the massage, friend suggest go Emperor Disco, then take motor tuk tuk again go back take shirt, then back to Daiichi hotel to meet them up, then we go Emperor Disco, arrive there, saw need entrance fees 200baht Per person, luckily my friend know that fella, then 8 guys walk in disco la...

Not many people, we order few jugs and drink...as usual, the music rock and the Bass is so DAMN power, until your hair and shirt will shake ... DOOM DOOM DOOM... live band very nice.. slim and slurply dancer.. after a few drinks, feel tired, go back with Alex to room and sleep la.... END of 1st night

This year songkran is extremely pack.. and very merry also, saw some truck decorate with beautiful flowers, and people dance around....Fun!

13 April 06

Today is the main date of Songkran, we slept until 9am morning, wake up, call up bro ++ and meet him and Mr Calvin, unfortunately today shop close, cannot try the famous kwong dong mee. Nevermind, bro Calvin offer to take us go splash around with his pick up truck with another 2 bro, here i refer them the 2 R. We fill up our bullet, then go splash around Hatyai city... fun fun fun.. After several turns, we need to go to the farm i used to go, around Old Lee Garden area, then go to find the Lao Ban Niang, get a few bottle of beer and have fun there..

Bro Alex is busying looking for her lover tonight, i encourage him to look other farm coz that farm not many puying left over... finally he found 1, quote 2000bath ( actually not worth but give face la), so pay money, i also take one puying, same price... we stay for a while, then decide to go back room to "work" la..

Night time decide go Paragon but too crowded, so we go to do some shopping, buy some shirt and food, take back hotel and enjoy there.. hmmmm

14th April 06

Thanks for bro calvin, we go to Samila seaside with bro 2R to watch the Asia Volleyball match, gosh.. snap hundren of picture... leng lui.. tall and pretty,

Afternoon most of the foodstall not open, we go cincai makan abit, bro ++ bring Alex and me to go to do some puying shopping, unfortunately most of the farm said puying mai mee liao, karp barn liao.. Okay la... forget about it, thanks for the kindness of bro ++, we go back sleep, night time bring bro Alex to famous pink lady to do soapy massage... KNN, customer more than puying, aquarium only left 1-2 puying.. nevermind.. nightime bro Calvin bring us to eat the famous " help yourself" seafood, very very satisfy.. night time bro 2 R offer to bring us to the famous WATER BAR.. wow... atmousphere nice, nice puying.. thanks to bro 2R, and they specially ask the dancer ( DAMN NICE~~)to escort us for a while... we buy them some " Flowers" Thanks again to Bro 2R~~

15th April 06

Finally got chance to taste the famous kuang dong mee... the nice part is the sauce.. i like the sauce...
Okay times up.. need to go already...we take the bus and come back happy and tiredly... overall this trip we didnt manage to meet puying but met a lot of friends, thanks again bro Calvin, ++, 2R, Ben... miss you guys
