Every
year i wont miss this great festival as well as this year, although
many say is not safe there.
12 April 05
Goin by bus at
night, reach the border around 5am morning, plenty of people crowded
at the centre there, although is not as many compare before but still
you need to squeeze to change money, buy food, etc
6am bus queing
up at the border, at first glance more than 20 buses already there,
waiting to cross the border.
Around the Thai
border not much of difference but at Malaysia border u can see more
uniform officials there, maybe the Thai officials r MII (Men In Invicible)
Reach Hatyai town
around 8am, after goin a few places, finally check into my favourite
hotel,the rate is goin up a bit but not much, acceptable
according to my friend the hotel at hatyai center is double up...
Sleep a few hours
before going to find my gals there, notice at the hotel arround already
got people selling water toy guns, big , small, etc, mostly hotel
operators wearing hawai or batik style clothing, very eye catching
indeed.
Take tutt tutt
going to my regular place, tutt tutt also raise their price, increase

Next morning due

Overall this year
Songkran festival is satisfactory. It dosent dissapoint me this year
either although some said is not safe there.
