Django Tutorial - Dominant 7th
1. You can use the dominant  7th arppegio over dominant 7th chords, ie 1 3 5 b7

In the key of C thats C E G Bb
2. You can also play the diminished arppegio starting on the b9.  You will notice this is exactly the same as 1. except you replace the root with the b9!!   the formula is  b9 3 5 b7

In the key of C thats Db E G Bb
4. Finally here is the mixolydian scale.
3. You can use the dominant  9th arppegio over dominant 7th chords, ie 1 3 5 b7 9

Notice you simply add one more note from 1.

In the key of C thats C E G Bb D

You can also think of this as a minor 6th chord built from the 5th (ie G Bb D E)
