Where to get Superboy on Video or DVD

Superboy is coming to DVD in 2006! Yes, you read that right. TVshowsonDVD and the Superman Homepage are reporting that the first season of Superboy is being prepared for a DVD release which will likely be out sometime around the time "Superman Returns" hits theaters. I won't go into all the details here, because the Superman Homepage has a very nice article about the announcement here. But the day has finally come folks!

I have been waiting for Superboy on DVD since I knew what a DVD was. I even made my own DVD season sets from my collection of Superboy video tapes I gathered over the years. Now I can chuck them out the window and get the episodes in the best quality anyone has probably seen them in since they were first on TV. Ah, it's a great day to be a Superboy fan. 

In light of this announcement, I am going to remove any and all links to bootleg Superboy tapes or DVDs from this page. If you want this series, buy it when the DVDs are released. You will get the best quality possible, direct from master tapes. Not to mention there will most definitely be commentary tracks and other supplemental materials on the DVDs, so there is no reason to be shelling out money for home-brewed DVDs no matter how good they may be. This is the real deal! Buy the set when it comes out and you will help ensure that future seasons will be released for everyone to enjoy!
