Male dogs can be neutered at the age of 5-6 mouths. Doing this can reduce aggression and the chances of prostate cancer and other hormone-driven tumors. |

Neutering your dog later in life can always be done, however the problems from above are at a higher risk. |

Females should also be spayed at the age of 5-6 mouths. Spaying your dog can reduce the stress and bleeding that an unspayed dog goes though every three months or so. A female dog who is in heat can attract an unneutered male dogs through scent from far away. Also, the males who come may fight which in danger you or any other person near by who interferes. |
