FLUTD SITE, My Riley suffered from FLUTD, which stands for Feline Lower Urinary Track Disease. This is a very very serious condition, that without medical intervention can results in the death of your cat within 24 to 48 hours. If your can is straining to pee or peeing in inapropriate places chances are it has FLUTD and IS NOT misbehaving. Females tend to pass the crystals, but males due to the nature of their urinary tract can become blocked. This can lead to the urine backing up into the bladder and death. But trust me the food is no more expensive than any good quality cat food. I'm paying 21 dollars a case for Riley's canned food and 24 or more for Boo's Nutro Max canned. So please watch out for this deadly disease.
