Snap-on weight for your T-Tape

Here's a simple way to create a weight to attach to your T-Tape.

You know those little plastic containers that advil or over-the-counter pain relievers come in? The come with a child-proof safety lid that snaps on to the top of the container. I am using an IB Profen lid (that was my little advertising plug). Cut away all of the container except for the lip of the container, to which the lid is attached. Maybe leave a little of the container so that you have something to grab when you want to pull the lid off. Now find the weight you want to attach. I use a D-battery, wrapped several times in electric tape. (A D-battery also happens to be the same diameter as the lid, which I find very aesthetically appealing). Attach the weight with glue or tape to the top of the lid. Now you have a battery attached to a lid which is attached to the rim of what is left of your cut away container. Take of the lid (after you figure out the safety mechanism...) Take your already T-taped willy (or John, if it has a different name) and insert just the tip of the T-tape through the cut off rim. Fold some of the edges of the T-tape over the rim, not too little, but not too much that the lid won't reattach. Reattach the lid with the safety lid locked (ie: arrows not lined up). The resistance from the safety lid should be enough to hold the weight of the battery. I have never had the weight fall off, and have worn it even to 10 hour shifts at work (where I was pleased to be standing the whole time). Just make sure you attach it correctly. It's nice, because the weight is snap-on -- easy on, easy off. I wear the weight when I know I'll be standing, and I tug with elastic otherwise -- both with the same T-tape. Hope this is helpful for some.
