KOI NO KISEKI

Episode Six

Inoue Ayako(Hazuki Riona) was really shocked when Yukino(Kanno Miho) sent faxes with pictures of when she was fat. But instead, she decided to use that as a tactic. She tells the advertising department of the cosmetics company that she wanted them to use those pictures.

Ayako wanted all women without confidence to know that as long as you had the effort, anyone could become beautiful like her. She wanted them to know that by looking at her obese pictures. Ayako was very confident about the idea. A woman who was a part of the staff agreed that every woman wanted to become beautiful, and by using this tactic, it would give women more confidence in themselves. The staff at the cosmetics company were very cooperative and excited about the idea. But it wouldn't be easy. A conference was held to discuss the matter.

Kai-kun(Hagiwara Masato) visits Ayako's apartment. But Ayako treats him badly, because she had caught him and Yukino kissing the other night. What she didn't like about Kai-kun was that he told Ayako that he disliked Yukino, but then he ends up kissing her. Kai-kun had his part of the story but couldn't tell Ayako. He didn't want to hurt her feelings anymore.

A few days later, Ayako is told by the cosmetics company that her idea was agreed upon, and they would like to use it for a commercial. The commercial would only show pictures of when Ayako was fat(when she was still Tsukamoto Taeko), because she wanted to keep it(what she looked like now) a secret until the day of the big press conference. And the advertising department thought it was a good idea to try to spread rumors and steer the media in a positive direction. A gossip magazine decided to take up this topic and were saying things like "It's amazing that a person this unattractive can become a campaign model for a cosmetics company" or "I wonder who this woman really is?" All eyes were on Ayako.

On the other hand, Yukino was enraged at the fact that Ayako was able to take her spot as the campaign model. Everyone thought Yukino would be chosen without any problems. Yukino tells her manager to get rid of Ayako, and she also explains to her younger sister, Hatsune(Yamaguchi Ayumi) how terrible and greedy Ayako was. She wanted Hatsune to feel as much hatred for Ayako as she did. Yukino is able to tempt her manager into cooperating with her. Hatsune also wanted to do something to help her sister.

The day of the big press conference arrives. The people in the conference hall and the media were all wondering what Ayako looked like now. But Ayako was feeling enourmous pressure, because she wasn't used to standing in front of such a large crowd.

Ayako leaves her make-up room and goes out the back door of the conference hall. She sits down and didn't seem to feel up to it. Then Ijiri-san(Tanabe Seiichi) appears in front of her. He looks at Ayako, who had lost her confidence and started shivering, and says, "You don't look any different than when you gave up on the diet and started searching for left-over food!" Although Ayako looked desolate, Ijiri-san scolds her only because he was worried about her.

But then, Ayako spots an obese woman. She was the cleaning lady for the conference hall. Ayako couldn't help it and stares at her, because Ayako herself used to be the same way. The woman tells Ayako that because of the commercial in which Ayako's fat pictures were shown, she was able to believe in herself and be more hopeful about her life.

Yukino's manager and Hatsune try to harm Ayako, but their attempts fail.

After meeting the obese woman, Ayako was able to be confident in herself. She was able to go right in front of the cameras with confidence and pride. Ayako wasn't feeling any pressure at all. All the reporters were surprised that the fat woman in the commercial was Ayako. Ayako says, "I want to tell all women with a complex that if you work hard and have confidence, you can become beautiful too." She tells everyone that you yourself are the only one who can truly change yourself. In Ayako's case, it all started when Yukino told her that she was too hard to see. The reporters were listening on to Ayako with open ears and open hearts.

After the press conference, Ayako became highly popular. In a way, she was the person of the times. On the other hand, Yukino couldn't hide her envy.

One day, Ijiri-san suggests to Ayako that she become an actress. He hands her a script, but when Ayako takes a look at it, she finds out that the script was written by Kai-kun(Hagiwara Masato). It was his debut script.

Kai-kun, who originally wanted to become a scriptwriter from the beginning, entered a script-writing contest after he quit his job at the cosmetics company. But because Ayako found out from Yukino that she slept with him, she wasn't able to speak frankly to him when he told her that he quit his job at the cosmetics company. She didn't know that Kai-kun was aiming to become a scriptwriter.

His first job was to write about Ayako and Yukino. He decides to find out more about Yukino and the truth about her whole life. He decides to visit Yukino's hometown. He calls Ayako to explain everything to her, but she was shocked when she heard that Kai-kun was going to visit Yukino's hometown to delve into her life. That was because those were the same words as her mother before she too was going to go to Yukino's hometown. Ayako's mother was eventually killed by Yukino after hanging up the phone. She tries to stop Kai-kun, but it was no use.

Kai-kun goes off to Yukino's hometown. But when he searches for more information on Yukino, he finds out something unbelievable. He finds out that a girl named Kurata Yukino was already dead. What? It seems that Yukino was not really Yukino. She, like Ayako, changed herself with the help of Ijiri-san. But Ayako didn't know about this yet.

Kai-kun was shocked after learning this. But he didn't realize that Yukino was standing very close to him. Things are not looking good for Kai-kun. Danger was near.
