Fried Green Tomatoes

1 large green (unripe) tomato
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1/8 tsp. black pepper
salt to taste
pinch of thyme
olive oil
1. Slice tomato into 1/8-1/4 inch slices.

2. Beat egg and milk.  Dip tomato slices into the mix to coat.

3. Sautee in olive oil until brown and crispy.

4. Serve with sour cream horseradish.
