CENSUS 2000

It seems the Census Bureau cannot please everyone. People complain about the questionnaires, the format of the form, or the way the forms were mailed. Frankly, I think the bureau has done a decent job providing quite a simple form, with fair questions. All information gathered is confidential, and not used for any purpose other than counting the population and learning its characteristics. Without knowing the precise information, the government can only tell whether a city is "crowded" or "not a lot of people." Besides, spending around 30 minutes every 10 years to fill out some forms is not that big of a deal to fuss about.
