What do you feed your Iguana? That is something I had a bit of trouble finding. You go to the store and see the canned iggy food (my opinion only here but that stuff is more harmful than good). You hear greens, fresh fruits, and veggies, So how do you know whats good and bad. This list will help you out. I know when searching the net I found LOTS of information A lot of it was confusing. I researched and spent hours on the net trying to find straight forward information and felt like I was only going in circles. I was then directed to a WONDERFUL site, most of my information has come from there site (with there permission of course) The Iguana Spot has been a GREAT source of information, encouragement, and friendship. The couple who run this site has helped me through this first three weeks of having Double D in our life. From answering questions on a post board, to gearing me toward informative sites (including theres and others), and private emails (including me asking about iggy poo looking different LOL).  This list was provided to me by the owners of Iguana Spot, they take no responsibility for anything posted on my site. The proper food is a vital part of your iguana's health. Greens, vegetables, and fruits should make up your iggy's diet. The following food lists will help you to figure out what is good/bad and what should be feed in moderation.
The Following lists should be what you use to complete a balanced diet for your iguana.  You should choose one or more items from each section to feed your iguana each day. Some iguana's Thrive on an endless variety, Others such as our Double D HATES change so to add or introduce a new food from the columns We have to add a tiny amount to all ready loved foods and then over a period of time increase till it is accepted as a good food.

This is just a basic List and as I am still pretty new to the iguana life I have turned to the "experts" at the Iguana Spot to help me.  Some also advocate using a calcium or vitamin supliment, I don't have enough knowledge on this subject to even think of making a guess. I suggest if this is something you wonder or question I say CALL YOUR VET,
