| What is a man? I find myself pondering this often in my daily life. One coudl say that a man is simply a collection of anatomical parts held together my bone and sinew. A being whose sole objective is to procreate a much as possible, I heartily disagree. I believe a man to be a being whose existence is dedicated to survival and the desire to be "successful" in the eyes of the world. Success is denoted by a number of things. Put in laymans terms they might read something like: 1) Possessing a fast and extravagant car 2) Having a beautiful partner who will fulfill your needs 3) Earning a vast amount of money in a high-profile job 4) Living in an extravagant house 5) Being fit and good-looking (a quote from American Beauty may exemplify this - "I want to look good naked") 6) Being superior to someone to be continued... |
