..aboutme..

Aquarius THE WATER BEARER is the sign of the thinker. Aquarians are extremely independent, they just will not be tied down for long. Their firm views and opinions can change to stubbornness if they are pushed into a corner. Nevertheless they are very faithful and supportive in the right relationship. Even though they may get thoroughly involved within a relationship aquarians need to preserve their privacy and independence. Aquarians attain the element of wind.

Aquarius - JAN 20 - FEB 18 - The Water Bearer
The Bright Side

Aquarians are usually lively, inventive and oh so original! Sailing in the opposite direction to the crowd comes naturally to aquarius, in fact this does not worry them, as they are always out of step with the world because they think ahead of their time and revel in anything different. As aquarius thinks today. so the world will think tomorrow. Aquarius is the most happily eccentric sign in the zodiac. Although it can be very difficult to get close to an aquarian, this fixed sign is loyal and faithful.
Should you ask an aquarian for help, you will immediately get it, and all promises will be kept (at some point in the future). However please note that a helpful aquarian is very averse to being deliberately used. Aquarius is adept at taking information from several channels and processing all the numbers to see the big picture, and they do this while you think they are ignoring you! Sometimes this information is seemingly detected on their own private radar.

[ Humanitarian, friendly, independent, quirky, willing, progressive, an original thinker, inventive, creative, loyal, idealistic yet rational. ]

The Dark Side

[ Very unpredictable, eccentric, rebellious, contrary, tactless, stubborn, perverse, emotionally oblivious. ]

The details of my life are the little things that differ indivisuals from heros. I am not saying that I am a savor or preacher. I am a messenger by my own command. I have something to say to everyone. I know many will not take the time to hear me. Many will fear me. It is not the person I bring to the mass. Raised in Hawaii by a pair of loving individuals, I grew without knowing what lay beyond the shores of my tiny island. I left Kauai to find my horizon. I may return someday to sew the seeds of my accomplishments, and to settle back in the sand that feels like home. I remember my younger days and my pain washes away.

I was born under the Aquarius Sun so I inherited the wisdom of creativity. The openminded Aquarians are naturally free-spirited and capable of unvealing the hidden secrets of the universe. Or it could just be me. Under popular daily horoscopes, I read the fine print to take in the consideration of global possiblity. But I never place my full faith into the fortunes of a random generator. Zodiacs are thought to be sublimable suggestions, but they are the only links to understanding the mystics of the human race. So my Zodiac reads - "You don't live your life by society's rules, dear Aquarius. Your freedom is what is most important to you. But, despite your independence, there are days when you have the sudden, sinking feeling that you could wind up alone in this world. Today, you should really begin to think about what the word commitment means to you. Is it really so scary after all?"
Alone
I have been alone most of my life. The solitude has given me time to think about the minute aspects that everyone else has seemed to forgotten. My life hasn't always been this strange. I remember grade school days of teatherball and bus rides. Once in high school, my emotions ran wild and hid themselves from me and the rest of the world. Years followed by bad choices and regretable mistakes. I moved my life to Ashland Oregon, a small college town with the patience to accept someone like me. Although land value has increased dramatically, along with those fluxuating, furieraiting gas prices, rich senior citizens move in to raise the value of a dollar. At one poine back in the day, Southern Oregon University used to be one of the top five part schools on the west coast. The truth shows on the streets, where the hippies refuse to leave. My advice to anyone interested in raising a family here should hede some fair warning. Be prepaied as I have come to realize. On route to finish my English Degree, fortified with minors philosophy and journalism, I embark on a journey to find those answers that mean so much to my frail existence.

Family First

Back in the day, 1983. Thomas A Veatch and Catherine A Moroney, later known as Mr. & Mrs. Veatch, took on the incredible responciblity of adopting the fair child that would later grow to be a legend. Temporarily named Charles Herbert Jennys to keep his face above water, Tom and Cathy decided on a name that would better suit their new life. The loving couple lived in the foothills of Kalalau Valley for sometime before making a commitment. They arranged a meeting on the Big Island and baby Adam left his birth home of Hilo to embark on the adventure of his very own.
Mom came from a large Scottish family. Being the second oldest of 10, Cathy fought through life to arrive on top. As Dirrector of Housekeeping at the Sherton Resort Hotel on Kauai, Cathy developed the carrer that allowed her skills to blossom in other fields of excellence. Professional Quilter, Cathy helped design and gather volunteers to aid in Hurricane Katrina's path of destruction. With a league of housekeepers and close friends, Cathy was able to send more than a dozen king size quilts to warm the misfortunate in the nation's largest dissaster. Her commitment to the people has grown tremendously over time. From her inspiration of practioning nurse to the seeds she planted for family and neighbors, Cathy carved a path that many hope to stumble across along their journey.
Dad came from a small German family. Being the youngest of 2, Tom saved his way through life to arrive above expectation. Recognized by Mayor Kusaka for 25 years as a Emergency Medical Technition, Tom quickly grew into his natural position as Station Manager for more than a third of Kauai's medical dispatch. With his spare time, Tom learned the tricks to a motherboard's trade. He fiddled with wires and circuits into the wee hours of the night, to wake the next moring with a certified A++ diploma. Liscenced to charge denser fees for home computer repair, Tom was able to build a work station capable of harnessing the awe that he dubs The Grateful Dead.
