| Cub Scout Leader Specific Training: Each Cub Scout leader completes the specific course for his/her own position in the program. Cubmaster & Assistants, Pack Committee Chair & Members, Tiger Cub Den Leaders & Assistants, Cub Scout Den Leaders & Assistants, Webelos Den Leaders & Assistants, & Pack Trainer. These training courses include instructions on pack organization, advancement, den & pack meeting program planning & your role within the pack. Separate classes will be provided for each level. Training sessions are approximately 1.5 hours. This level of training is required for all Cub Scout Leader Awards. New Leader Essentials Training: New Leader Essentils is the initial training for adult leaders. In this 90 minute training, leaders learn the objectives of the Scouting program & the methods that are used to achieve these objectives. They also gain a basic understanding of youth development, as well as how Scouting is organized financed, policies related to the program, & resources to help leaders succeed. This training is for all new Scout leaders. |
