| Born in Kansas, lived in the Tulsa area most of my life.  Normally I am quiet and studious, but get me started on certain topics and I'll talk your head off.  I do like to eat, and I enjoy most kinds of food; the list of foods I don't like is definietly a lot shorter than the list of foods I do like!  Once in a while I do like to get my nose out of the books and get outside.  I do have a quirky sense of humor, but it sometimes takes a while to show up, except when I'm in an onery mood! | |||||||||||||||||||||
| This is me operating one of the HF radios at the Tulsa Repeater Organization's WA5LVT Field Day Station, Saturday, June 28, 2003 at Whiteside Park, 41st and Pittsburgh in Tulsa. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| My major interest is the weather.  I'd like to becomea research meteologist, but instead, I have become a ham radio operator (callsign: KC5ZQM), and a certified storm spotter.  I belong to several groups that help me pursue my interests in weather and ham radio: Eastern Oklahoma / Northwestern Arkansas Skywarn Advisory Committee, Tulsa Repeater Organization, Northeastern Oklahoma Chapter of the American Meteorological Society, the American Radio Relay League, and Oklahoma  Research Balloons. | |||||||||||||||||||||
