A technique of propaganda called "Turnspeak"

The Lord Jesus died for His sheep, He laid down His life for us.  He did not intend that we be found in ignorance and without a way of knowing what we are up against.  Today we see the ones engaged in Jihad against our Lord and those who follow Him. There are secularists, atheists, occultists, and Stalinists who employ one variation or another of turnspeak so that the message of Jesus Christ does not get through, is maligned and is twisted.  The Great Delusion that will be poured out upon those who do not believe allows those opposed to God to construct reason on their delusion.  Those who are of a tender heart and of good intentions are to be gentle and speak the truth in love but to be wise and not be deluded by specious arguments that have a ring of some reason but are false.  The chief way to avoid falling into false philosophies is by knowing and meditating on the Bible while the Holy Spirit tutors us.  If we know the truth, the false is quickly recognized.  Jesus said that the falseness of those who are anti-Christ would be so believable that even the elect would be fooled if that is possible.

24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before.

Matthew 24

The people who call themselves Pro Choice are in favor of things that resemble something different than a choice.  Choice is beside the point.  A baby being delivered is caught while only the head is crowned outside the body of the mother.  Surgical scissors are plunged into the back of the skull and the brains are sucked out so the head collapses.  Had the baby been allowed to deliver completely he or she would have grown into an adult, a person.  The more appropriate term for people are Pro Choice would be Pro Death, Terminators, or Death Advocates.  The use of turnspeak is outlined below.

The Arab League makes use of a cognitive technique of propaganda called "turnspeak", where you attack someone and then turn it around 180 degrees and claim they attacked you. Because the truth is the exact opposite of the information being disseminated it is psychologically difficult to counter and leads to confusion.

Turnspeak leads to psychological confusion and a feeling of being "burned-out" or "overwhelmed" with too much information, effectively creating a blanket of "white noise" which makes clarity difficult to achieve.

Joan Peters, former White House consultant on the Middle East writes:

The term was first used by journalists to describe German propaganda after it invaded Czechoslovakia in March of 1939. To win sympathy for their invasion, the Germans practiced what has become known as "turnspeak". They turned the blame back on the Czechs for trying to precipitate an all-out war in the region. In other words, the Czechs in their attempt to hang onto their land were ready to plunge all of Europe into war.

How did the rest of Europe respond to this lie?

They believed it.

World leaders decided that something had to be done to preserve peace at any cost.

Author William Shirer, who was a reporter in Europe at the time, distilled the truth simply when he wrote,

"Thus the plight of the German minority in Czechoslovakia was merely a pretext...for cooking up a stew in a land he [Hitler] coveted, undermining it, confusing and misleading its friends and concealing his real purpose...to destroy the Czechoslovak state and grab its territories..."

The Arab claim that Jews are "Nazis" is not without motive. They are trying to obscure their own close connection with the Nazis. During World War II leading Muslims including Haj Amin al-Husseini worked for the Nazis in Germany and called for a intifada against Britain. Haji Amin al-Husseini was the grand mufti of Jerusalem, as well as Yasser Arafat's close relative and mentor...

The Arabs, especially Iraq, sided with Germany during W.W.II. In May 1941, Haj Amin al-Husseini issued a fatwa - "summons to a holy war against Britain". The Mufti's widely heralded proclamation against Britain was declared in Iraq, and was instrumental in his 1941 pro-Nazi intifada in Iraqi. The Mufti also requested Arab-Americans not to support FDR.

Yasser Arafat's actual name is Abd al-Rahman abd al-Rauf Arafat al-Qud al-Husseini. He shortened it to obscure his kinship with the notorious Nazi and Mufti of Jerusalem.2

Saddam Hussein was raised in the house of his uncle Khayrallah Tulfah, who was a leader in the Mufti's pro-Nazi coup in Iraq in May 1941. Both Yasser Arafat and Saddam Hussein were greatly influenced by the Mufti during their time in Cairo during the 1950s.

Side-by-side comparison of "turnspeak"

Many examples of "turnspeak" abound in today's news media. For example a article in an leading Western news service reported

"The settlers are a roaming the west bank with guns and randomly shooting at Palestinian civilians... making Palestinians prisoners in their own villages", or another article that said "They [the settlers] are hunters... They go into jail through one door and out the other." An even more obvious example is Arafat's claims that Israel is stopping the peace process.

We listened to a great deal of chat and instruction about Islam being the religion of peace.  Although there are many peaceable Muslims, the Prophet was a warrior and violence and conquest by the sword was not only part of the Koran but practiced by him, but to this day it is part of the language of achieving goals legitimately.  Violence and Jihad are in action today.  This is a fine example of turnspeak and many Americans buy it hook line and sinker anyway.

For examples of its use consult the above link to the original article and the source of the above excerpt. Not all of the leftists use this propaganda technique and of course not all conservatives use it either. I see an increasing use of it more predominate with the leftists, although it is being used almost without the knowledge of some in every walk of life. It is particularly the language of abusive and dysfunctional people. People who control reality and their own well-being by trying to control others unfailingly are subject to this in their own personal relationships. It is ironic that those who would count themselves as socialistic, socialists, Socialists, Fabian Socialists, Utopian Socialists, Anarchists, and anarchists employ this type thinking on a regular basis. Needless to say conservatives use this to one degree or another from time to time. Perhaps fittingly, when one is iconoclastic the breaking of socially accepted norms or laws to achieve a revolution of the mind, the heart, and eventually the people; this language is needful. There must of a needs be, when one departs from a position of agreement with absolute truth being held in esteem to that of values clarification and relative morality a use of this kind of logic and cognition. It is kind of akin to Trotsky saying the state is God and God is the state. Coming into agreement with Trotsky, one must use turnspeak quite regularly. Similarly some say that social order will be maintained without hierarchy in an anarchistic society. While it looks good to some on paper, anarchy is more similar to chaos and the horrors that eventually brings than idylic order in a civil society. How else does one explain the brutal reality of the dictatorship of the proletariat if it is not recognized that horrible oppression was used to ostensibly achieve equality that never materialized in the Soviet Union.
