Vlad has done very well in the show ring and obtained his Grand Championship with 3 Best in Show All Breeds 1 Speciality Best in Show and 5 Runner Up Best in Shows All Breeds. As a puppy he took Puppy in Show (specialty) under Mollie Robinson of the UK. At the 9th Cocker Spaniel National he went Best Australian Bred in Show (J Smith UK).

A daughter of Vlad's, Teenalee Book OKells, bred and owned by Tom & Peggy Hartnett, at the tender age of 16 months went Challenge Bitch at the 9th Cocker Spaniel National (J Smith).

Vlad is soon to turn 9 years young, he is still very competitive in the show ring and recently took out yet another All Breeds Best in Show under gundog specialist, Maree Merchant from South Australia.
