40 Ford Coupe 'Door Slammer' ( 3 Photos ) The chassis and body are about the only original parts to this model. It sports the Top Fuel Dragster engine and pipes with extra fuel lines, ignition leads, and throttle linkage. The rear wing is a Porsche 911 whale tail. Wheels, twin chutes, twin compressed air bottles (for gear shifting) are also from a Top Fuel Dragster. Cockpit is a Funny Car item complete with roll cage. The chassis and inner guards had to be modified to accomodate the lowered front end, 511 cu in engine and exhaust, and front wheels. Paint is a deep, almost black Blue with Blue pearl.
