WELCOME to MADLFAVA EMuLATION ! As you've probably guessed by now that the site is mostly about Sega Genesis/ Megadrive emulation. I chose the Sega Megadrive because it was my most favourite console as a child, and yet the funny thing is that I only purchased one after Sony Playstation was released ( 1996 ) , so it wasn't in the Genesis prime. I have grown up with many systems Nintendo Entertain ment System, Sega Master System ( great console ), Sega Megadrive, Commadore 64, desktop pc ( new pc ) and finally the Playstation. They were all great gaming systems, but none of their games caputered me more then the Sega Genesis, with its superb ( for the time ) graphics, great sound and the massave array of half decent games. Now about the site, as you will see there are two of my most sucessful and favourite emulator on this site ( if there not there they will be ). They are Gens for windows and DOS based Genecyst. Soon games will appear, just give me some time. Hope you like the site !

EMULATORS GENS WINDOWS :  a great Sega emulator works well on most modern pc's, not so great on 486. The sound isn't as good quality isn't as good as the quality of Genecyst, but the compatibility with games is better. Like all things it does have its bad points, and they are : hard to find; freezes when screen saver comes on; other minor things. OVERALL  RATING :  * * * * 1/2 GENECYST DOS : a fairly good emulator, not the best if just getting into the whole emulator thing. It is made by the same people who made Nesticle an emulator for the Nintendo. Many call this 'the best' along with KGEN, which in my view is wrong Gens is the better emulator with windows based menu and setup. But give Genecyst a try it well worth a download ! ROMS (click on names to download. If nothing happens then I haven't loaded them up yet ) Shane Warne's Cricket : A great, if not the best cricket game ever made for the Genesis, for an Aussie that is. It features State teams like the Queensland Bulls and Victoria Bushrangers; international teams; matches at intrenational venues; one-day and tests; create your own team mode and training ! What more could you want ? Where in the world is Carmen Saniago ? : This is an absolute gem. I can remember playing this in primary school, on the old Apple mac. Challenging but fun game, its also very educational about crime matters (yeah right ) and places. DOWNLOAD IT, ITS WORTH IT Micro-machines '96 : Great game......really ! Its friggin brilliant. Racing around micro-machines around tree houses, barbeques, a tent, kitchen table . Heaps of cars drags, jetboats, hoovercrafts, monster trucks ....etc. DOWNLOAD IF YOU HAVE A BRAIN ! WWF Super Wrestlemania : Good game, the predocesser ( Royal Rumble v. '93 ) is better though. I only put it on cause its pretty fun and a small upload. But if you can get the Royal Rumble version it has more options of play. Still worth a download. Chester Cheetah 2 - Wild, Wild West : Good but hard game. Lots of fun, keys are a bit hard to learn but they'll grow on ya. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 :   What can I say ? This is a marvelous, fun, exciting game. It has great fast graphics, brilliant sound, and a wide variety of things to do in the levels ( even hang gliding WOW ) . Also you get the very cool tails to escort you , Davis Cup Tennis : A fairly good tennis game. Compared to other tennis games available on the Sega this one ranks the best by far. It has okay graphics, good sound, good practice options and a nice interface. Recommended if you are into sporty type games. Gunster Heros : Friggin excillent game, my favourite patform shoot 'em. Nice cartoon like graphics, good music and clever use of sound to co-ordinate with certain events. I LOVE THIS GAME !  PLEASE GET IT, SHARE THE PASSION ! John Madden NFL '98 :   This is a great game and I don't even know the rules for American football. This game is easy to get to understand for anybody no matter what code of football you follow. I'll be pasting the Australian version of this game ( Australian Rugby League ) soon. Atlanta Summer Olympics 96 :   Just like all the other Olympic games, but this one is actually quite fun  ! It has 12 events that you can play, including 100 metre sprint, 110 m hurdles, pole vault, high jump, triple jump and skeet ! FUN, EXCITING, GET IT NOW ! What else  is there to say ?     Wheel of fortune : This game is actually quite entertaining, ITS A SHOCK I KNOW !  The game follows the tv show format : a puzzle to solve, pick letters , win money . The only annoing aspect of this game is the crappy chick who flips the letters, they have really crappy quality voice overs. SMALL BUT FUN !  Isn't that what Dwyers girlfreind said about his... utitlity belt. Australian Rugby League 96: Yes i have been promising this one for ages, so here it is. It is a great but easy Rugby League game. I beleive the only one on all consoles. If your an Aussie or a pom you will love this, cause it has the teams from both leagues. State Of Origin matches, matches, club matches and a premiership...its all there. Download it.
