Richard Niblock General Manager Van Isle Windows, Victoria BC Richard provided me with this letter of reference after hosting an event in the underground parking garage of the Van Isle Windows building. I had selected this site because a natural rock wall ran along the west side of the parking lot, while the rest of the venue was reinforced concrete, a mixture of natural and urban aesthetics. Gerald Belanger Business Owner and Manager Nice+Smooth Ultramedia Toronto, Ontario I worked for Gerald Belanger in the early nineties at his music and media shop "Modulations." Volunteer References: Theo Rosenfeld Community Organizer / Research Assistant Pala Community Development, Vancouver Having involvement within the electronic music community unfortunately brings one within the orbit of substance abuse issues, and my work with "Mind-Body-Love" (a precursor to Pala) used my status as a musician and industry role-model to inspire alternatives in 1990's youth culture. My work with Mind-Body-Love included youth advocacy, some direct counselling, as well as the application of my Production/ Promotion skill to the development of "Mind-Body-Love's" community programming.
