In June 1998 I was lucky enough to re-connect with three old friends from
Germany and Switzerland - Uwe Michler, Gerhard Preusser, and Hansruedi Ott.
Many thanks to my good friend Klaus Zeitler of Lufthansa with whom
I have been in contact all these many years. Of course you may have
noticed that Harald Fick's name has been on the DPIer's email and broadcast
lists for a long time now.
DPI Europe, based in Cologne, Germany added many millions to the sales figures
of DPI.
After the total integration into NCR, Hansruedi Ott and Chuck From developed
the System 20 which was very popular in Europe. We did not do such
a good job in the US.
